you think he would avoid a prime tito's punches?
Yeah I think there are two forms of Shane. Fast potshotting and light on his feet, and woops I got suckered into a war. He avoided Oscar's punches just fine in their first fight, and Collazo (while not as fast is certainly very accurate) couldn't find home at all. Then you see him fighting Cotto's type of fight all night long. I think he won that fight against cotto, or at least got a draw, but if he chose to slug with Tito he'd probably get dropped a few times before losing a decision. However I feel he'd know what he's up against and fight Tito the way he did Oscar, and pull out with a unanimous decision using his speed and lateral movement.
forrest dont hit as hard & i doubt shane could take those shots from Tito...
At 147 I think he can. Shane is a tough guy, I think his chin is strong enough & he has way too much heart.
I believe Shane by Decision. He seems better suited at 147, but I bet you he take a lot hard ass punches, but he would give it right back.
Hell yeah, he is a wild guy & often puts his entire body into punches, briefly leaving himself open. He would take some good shots.

I don't know about Shane being good at avoiding punches.
I mean he did have a few slick moves here and there in the pocket, but overall he wasn't especially hard to find, and tended to leave himself open down the middle.
He'd wing shots quite a bit which left himself exposed. It often seemed like his offense was his defense. Guys would be so pre-occupied with his attack that they couldn't take advantage of his mistakes.

I'd pick Mosley by decision. He was good at avoiding punches and I don't think Tito and Vernon is a great comparison.

'I reign like Sugar Shane'.Outside of Roy and maybe Meldrick , Shane was prolly the most remarkable atheletic specimen I'd ever seen enter a ring in the last 20yrs. Prime Shane gave me the feeling I felt when I saw Meldrick and Roy for the first. Tyson will alway be number 1, however Meldrick was my first pure boxing hero, and then can Roy. I alway connect these 3 together for some reason. Now Tito, I never really liked that much. He's a powerful puncher/greater fighter however as a teen back during the early 90's something about him always stuck me being extremely amatuerish. He just had the most horrible footwork I'd ever seen. During Shane's prime, I could envision Shane knocking Tito down(flash) numberous time do to speed/power coupled with Felix's fucked up footwork and suspect chin. Shane chin is made of granite too, don't forget. Shane for the win. The only way Tito beats shane is by knock out and think would only come by way of constant jabbing and finishing powershots, late in the fight. Tito's jab isn't like Forrest's or Winky's so...

I'm going with Mosley on this one, he's fast enough and has enough skill to beat Trinidad, the way to beat both fighters is with a stiff jab, neither really possesses that kind of jab so I think Mosley's combination punching, speed and chin would win him the fight, Trinidad would as always have a punchers' chance.
tito would forrrest him.mosley's boxing ability is overrated.he has a shit jab.and mosley will get into exchanges with tito.all of you picking mosley need to get your heads out your ass.
Mosley is too brave for his own good, He would abandon his game plan and trade with Trinidad and that would cost him especially against a dangerous puncher like Trinidad. Trinidad has the tools to take advantage of Mosley's speed brawling style by timing him coming in and by keeping him at the end of his punches, and also brining educated pressure to him and cutting off the ring the way he did with Oba Carr and Vargas. Shane at any point in his career didn't have the lateral movement that would trouble Tito like a De La Hoya, Hopkins ect. I see Mosley being broken down here, but not stopped. I like Trinidad by decision. It would be a great fight nonetheless.
