1. Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Thomas Hearns I
2. Cassius Clay vs. Sonny Liston I
3. Joe Louis vs. Max Scmeling II
Honorable Mention: Ivan Drago vs. Rocky Balboa
Ali-Frazier I, Holyfield-Bowe I, Tyson-Holyfield 1. All about the atmosphere. Can you imagine sitting in the crowd waiting to see Ali-Frazier, the Fight of the Century, two unbeaten monsters no one could whup set to collide. Plus, that fight was one of the alltime great heavyweight fights. It went back and forth. That fight has everything you want. Holyfield-Bowe, same again, two unbeaten big men, and of course Ring mag fight of the year, best HW fight of the generation, blood and guts. Tyson-Holyfield - again, atmosphere ever important, Ring mag fight of the year, epic confrontation, GOOD VS. EVIL style billing, these are my three picks.
1. Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Thomas Hearns I

For me it's the whole atmosphere of Ali coming back from his layoff to fight Frazier to determine who was truly the best heavyweight in the world at that time, that would have been great to be a part of.
Yeah, I've seen some footage of the crowd and heard stories about the Johnson-Jeffries fight, that was a historic event.
i would have loved to be 1st row at ali-frazier in my finest fur, taking pics with ol' blue eyes....
for the sugar ray-lamotta fight, i'd be kicking it ringside with my man miles davis, who was boys with sugar, and was a huge fan of the sweet science....
for joe louis - schmelling, i would be chillin in my yamika and talis on. i'd make sure to say yartzeit for schmelling after his execution...

i think i would have rooted for bernard in hop-may......
mmm.... like taking candy from a baby.
his mouth would have been watering at that idea, as if he were michael jackson scoping out the local playground.
seriously though, bernard is kind of a larger floyd with less natural gifts. floyd basically b-hopped ricky hatton on the inside. he took a lot of things from illy-B from philly!
incidentally, i would have rooted for tua against floyd too!
Yeah It was a hard choice, but I though I would like to go to the fight where the legend of Ali got it's start. The one I would have like to see the most though is Jack Johnson/Jim Jeffries. I mean imagine the atmosphere there a black man in 1910 fighting the last white hope to claim supremacy. That shit would have been crazy.

This is a good list, although I would have preferred to attend Ali-Frazier 1 over Ali-Liston 1.
