Conseco Fieldhouse wants Brewster on boxing card

Conseco Fieldhouse officials are negotiating to have Indianapolis native and former World Boxing Organization heavyweight champion Lamon Brewster highlight what would be the venue’s first boxing card since 2002 this fall.
Brewster, 35, won his first fight in more than a year Saturday, scoring a fifth-round knockout of Danny Batchelder in Cincinnati. Brewster, who lives in Los Angeles, is 34-4. A potential opponent is James Toney on Oct. 11, Indiana boxing commissioner Jake Hall said.
Rick Fuson, chief operating officer of Pacers Sports & Entertainment, said: “Our guys have been talking to (Brewster), but nothing is confirmed. We might know more by the end of the week. We’d love for it to happen. We’ve been wanting him to fight here for a long time.”
They have all of the wrong information in that article. The date is November 29 and Toney was never being considered for the opponent but to be on the same card as the co-main but his purse fee was too high for their budget.
So dog I bet a bet with this fool for nothin? Who you think Brewster gonna fight? Another journeyman or someone like Ibragimov or Monte Barrett maybe even Tua.

Anybody have an recent pictures of Toney I bet he is about 290lbs right now.....Lefty
well for the rahman fight he was 228 I believe, but that was a while ago. James has probably went to his favorite burger restaurant and ate some pizza since then. No disrespect to JT, I love Pizza aswell...burgers are pretty good sometimes too. But I lost 47 pounds last year, and I'm not even a fighter. JT can do it too, not 47 pounds though, that would be losing too much weight. He is a heavyweight...
I can do 10k on it if your interested.
Your 10K to my 15K, I'm givin u some good stuff right there man. Done deal confirm it dog and sig it. Brewster is straight up christian soldier, he won't lose but I wish he was fightin someone with a little bit more talent. Should be going against Eddie Chambers or JD Chapman but whatever at least he's in there.
JT needs to get that weight down further and further and he'll do alright...

dog I will take that bet, 15K on it dude. Brewster is gonna KO him no doubt, be the first one to do it to Toney. Mos def it could happen hopefully Lamon still has some of his power left. Anyone have a vid of him against Batchelder?I can do 10k on it if your interested.
interesting cause these two know each other well. they often spar in cali. brewster helped prepare toney for rahman in his last fight, so they have been mixing it up recently as well....
Should be a good scrap. I'd favor Toney on points:boxing:
