Joe Cortez got on Hatton's back more because of the booing of the national anthem that is school of thought i have anyway ,and because he was holding aswell but i feel the booing of the anthem effected the referees performance aswell
what do you think
The booing also affected Hatton coming in with wide punches and getting caught
hehehe
Ur playing aint ya?
Would a tanned Ricky Hatton last longer in the ring with Mayweather?
Do you ever post in writing or just meaningless repetitive pictures?
Im struggling to see the relevance in showing Hatton getting knocked down has to the ref in the Lazcano fight.
Anyway I should expect you to be coherent let alone relevant. :dunce:
That is a foolish statement considering Mayweather capitilized on a flaw that Hatton has and not the benifit from the refereeing. In the 24/7 show Mayweather and his camp always mentioned that Hatton throws his hook wide and he even had Roger Mayweather imitate it.If you notice in the Mayweather fight,Floyd was timing Hatton for that check left hook.He even led him to the exact spot where the first knockdown happened and grazed him a few times with that punch.Floyd landed the perfect punch for a reason it was not luck and the ref did not force Ricky to throw his leaping left hook nor did he give Mayweather the ability to counter it with his own.
that was a flaw of Hattons but he got out of his game plan because of the point deductions and that is what contributed to him taking more chances and putting himself in arms way to give Floyd the opurtunity to capatalise on that flaw
that is clear for anyone to see he marches out the next round and tries to walk in without using the jab and he comes in a straight line

it doesn't matter because hatton got ktfo
There should have been a break in the action for Hatton to tie his shoelaces in that 10th round, but the type and length of warning given to Lazcano prior was unwarranted.
i cant say he would'nt have got KTFO cause u never know
but you can say Floyd knocks him out period :lol1:
Well it happend didnt it
Floyd knocked him the fuck out
So im closer to the truth by sayin yeh it would happen anyway
then you are of sayin if cortez would'nt of deducted a point Hatton would'nt of got knocked out What kind of Bud makes you come up with that cuz i need some...
Hatton didnt have no game plan.
He was doing the same shit he always does thinking it would
work but come unstuck when he was getting tagged
U cant say that though mate u would never know...
I think Floyd would of knocked him out period...
Way to accurate for a guy like Hatton who eats a few to throw a few
thats always been that guys style.

Hatton would'nt have got KTFO if it was not for Cortez he changed his game plan and starting walking PBF down and virtually through his tactics out the window after the point deduction
im not saying he would of won but he would not have lost by KO

Sure,he was a bit over anxious when he broke them up after they were clinching and sometime before they inciated the clinch. The thing I have a problem with is when people claim Cortez cost Hatton the fight or he wouldn't of been knocked out if it wasn't for Cortez.Hatton still won some rounds so if Cortez was not letting Hatton do his thing, why was he nearly ahead on Ledermans card going into the tenth?

I completely reject the idea that Hatton would have defeated Mayweather with a different referee. Mayweather was too good for Hatton and was able to step up a gear when he needed to.
Thats the truth right there!
I think Hatton is overrated but I don't hate! I wanted him to win that fight but I knew he didn't have a chance, but you are the obsessed loser that cant accept the fact after all this time!
of coarse i can accept it im not a huge Hatton fan anyway i was making a light hearted joke about Cortez and you ,you tool have turned it into something different because of how sensitive you are
I don't hate Hatton. If me paying to go see one of his fights in the UK is hating him, then call me a hater.Me claiming that Hatton's ref is biased is just as bad as people claiming Cortez was on the payroll.Do you know how many professional bouts Cortez has refed?Out of all of those fights how many has he been accused of being biased,or on the payroll?
well do you think he has ever had two performances as questionable as the Hatton and Soto fight
Cortez was criticised by American fight fans not just British ,criticism of the ref in the Hatton fight probably stems from the criticism British fans directed at Cortez if the truth be known

Whether he was biased or not is almost irrelevant, he made big mistakes and people are correct to point this out.
Cortez doen't give a shit about the U.S national anthem.
i dont believe Cortez was on Hatton's case at all.
Hatton needs to understand that throwing a jab followed by a lunging
hook and then clinging on for dear life so his opponent cant throw
nothing back is not boxing.Thats how Kostya Tsyzu got mugged out of his fight.
