I am just curious to know, why is it that when Floyd say that he is better than Sugar Ray Lenard he is call a prick and he is disrespecting a legend, but when Margarito talks bad about Oscar a future legend he is praised for calling Oscar out.

didnt oscars fight plan include the winner of the Cotto/Marg fight? If so I would be doing exactly what marg is doing. GETTIN PAAAIIIDDDDDD. Thats his scratch off lottery ticket.
PWill didnt want to fight a rematch with Marg after the first fight and said "I am moving forward not backwards!" Pwill is a big dude, I wouldnt want to fight him at all. I dont think Marg is running, I think really think he wants that scratch off lottery ticket he won the night he body shot the crap out of Cotto. Why all the hate?
FM doesnt have the resume nor the balls SRL had. I can see why he gets crap for lashing out at a great. SRL is a great, FM could have turned the WW class into what it used to be and made everyone a ton of money. I know everyone regardless of w or l would love to have seen fm vs cotto/clottey/marg/pwill?/and so on. As a fan I would buy all of those fights. Its not about cleaning out the division its about calling yourself the best!
Floyd has a high opinion of himself, being arrogent or cocky usually helps in a sport like boxing. The human brain is an amazing thing and can push the body to far beyond what most people believe it is capable of. Now Floyd talking shit to Sugar Ray at Sugar Ray's birthday party is not really the classiest thing to do, but i rememmber reading that Floyd was joking and just took it to far by doing it all night.
Considering how Floyd devoted his life to boxing, I think it is not that bad for him to think highly of himself for what he has done. Does that mean you have to agree with Floyd, fuck no who really cares what Floyd has to say about any topic.
Oh look, it's the other fucking racist 20 pound midget.
Fuck me, it's like an Ooompa loompa parade around here.
heheheheh
Shit ur on a killin spree 2day blud....
You see his pathetic profile in his mom's basement trying to make a "hard" face?
LMAO.
Joartcc and his mom:
:rofl::rofl:
Let's not forget that he's a racist piece of shit also. He PMs people with racial slurs all the time. Specifically black people.
He did that to you too?...Just look at my sig...Dude is a real killer I see!
because Oscar is a myth a media creation
assuming that you are a fan of Floyd you really owned yourself with this statement
you do know there are some of Mayweather's fans who call his victory over Oscar as a great accomplishment on Floyd's resume.
so Money May MOFO which is it?
a media creation a myth or a great win for Floyd
can't have both ways for the sake of trying to always make Floyd look teflon.
:spank:
Which Margarito beats small WW he is a legend but when Mayweather beat Hatton or Judah no credit. When Floyd fans say Cotto needs more exposure he is ducking him, but when Williams want Margarito Williams is not big star enough and Margarito needs a pay day. Cotto will called out Mayweater but Williams called out Margarito.
Marg fans are doing that to fuck with Mayweather fans. It's pretty funny.
SR Leonard cleaning out divisions?? the same guy that ducked aaron pryor and waited for marvin hagler to get old and then finally fought him?? who refused to give hagler a rematch but gave rematches to duran and hearns? same guy who lost to a smaller duran?? yeah his resume is far superior to mayweathers
Mayweather tries to get a reaction out of people and he s good at it. In his defense though, people expect more out him than most fighters. Before he accomplishes something people say he will fail, then he does it and the same people downplay it making it see like it was something he was supposed to. As far as his persona it never offended me and I am surprised so many people catch feelings so easily. Its always seemed to me that he presented himself similar to the way a successful hip hop artist would. Flashy, arrogant, and entertaining. I always thought that was smart if he looking to be recognized by hard-core and casual fans alike with the possibility to be known outside of boxing. Then again hip hop does get that same type of treatment with media and whatnot so I guess I shouldnt be surprised.
I don't fall for the bullshit that you want me to believe. Saying things haven't changed is ignorant and self defeating. Things have changed a lot, if you don't think so, look who will be the next president of the US.
Is there still racism and racist people, of course, I would never deny that but you have to understand the political climate in the 60's when Ali was doing what he was doing.
Now, people don't give a shit if mayweather is black, it's about MONEY. He's a great fighter, in that there's no doubt but he's classless. He's classless in the things he says about other fighters, the way he's backed out of promised fights with Margarito after looking that man in his face and shaking his hands.
Now, I know that doesn't mean shit to people in your generation, but to others it means a lot.
Oh and if you think the "Money Mayweather" is the real Mayweather......LOL, I have to laugh at that. That's a persona that he's developed to mask the emotional wreck he really is. That's why he cries when asked about his father and has to big himself up because he's so insecure with himself.
This isn't 1960, it's 2008, shit has changed for the better...much better. Don't pull that, "my job is to stay black and die" bullshit. Nobody cares anymore about that shit.
It may not be the 1960's but Jena 6, Sean Bell and many other cases tell me shit hasn't changed as much as you think it has.
If it didn't matter that PBF was black then why did so many Mexicans who hated De la Hoya for being what they saw as a fake Mexican root for him to beat PBF? Race will always matter in America this country was built on fucked up race relations. From the Native Americans on down the only thing that changes is what group is hated the most in this country at a certain time. President are bought by the way Obama ain't gonna do shit for low people on totem pole or people in the middle. Cause if tries he won't be in office for long. No I don't think that is the real PBF but that is what people hate for when thats not who he really is. Hence why I asked the question how can people hate someone they don't know.
As for the bold go on and keep on thinking nobody cares. Tell that to the fucked cops, prosecutors, judges and people who make decisions on jobs. Tell that shit to the Katrina victims. Funny how the American goverment got Tsunami victims aid and help within 24 hrs but it took 3 days to week to help people out in the own damn country. Yeah exactly nobody cares about that shit :rofl::rofl:
Racism and bigotry are still on the same level it is just more hidden now. LMAO at the bold and underlined please don't fall for that shit. That is what they want people to believe but that shit is so far from the truth.
Whats wrong with being true to yourself if that is what you really are? Honestly I don't too many people know the true PBF. I could be wrong but I doubt it. Its funny as hell how people hate a man they never met. To me that is better than being fake and loved by many. I would be able to sleep better at night nowing everybody hated my true self than having many people love me for being something I am really not.
Also what is wrong with Mayweather having the OPINION that he is best ever? I don't understand how a man can be hated for having a great OPINION of HIMSELF.

because Oscar is a myth a media creation
Yet Pac still getting more money than Mayweather to fight Oscar .Floyd took what ever Oscar gave him 70-30 to the so called best fighter .
I am just curious to know, why is it that when Floyd say that he is better than Sugar Ray Lenard he is call a prick and he is disrespecting a legend, but when Margarito talks bad about Oscar a future legend he is praised for calling Oscar out.

Tyson was young, black, rich, etc... and he was loved and admired by EVERYONE. Why? He didnt come off as a loudmouthed punk who talked more than he fought.
He didn't talk much in the beginning but when he started talking vicious people started hating him.

Floyd wishes he can be praised like Leonard was and still is to this day. So the only way to gain attention is to say he's better than Leonard ever was, which is laughable at best. The majority of people who follow boxing see right through Floyd. He's not a hard dude to figure out.
Margarito calling out Oscar to me isn't a big deal, who wouldn't want a big payday? But Marg's fans on here are the funny ones being they make this claim about Margarito being the most dangerous guy, yet he won't fight the one guy that's beaten him in the current Welterweight picture. Instead Margarito tells Williams to "Wait his Turn" like he's the lineal champion when in fact he'll have an * next to his title until he beats Williams. At least that's how I see it.

i made this point on another website yesterday, i think you copied me
Floyd haters bash him for fighting Oscar and saying he did not clean out 147 but Marg is trying to fight Oscar without cleaning 147 and he gets a pass
i have never attacked a fighter for looking for his big payday. in fact ive always thought that a fighter should look for his as soon as possible because how dangerous the sport is. my problem with floyd is that after he fought DLH and hatton for that matter is that he retired instead of fighting the best fighters in his division. If floyd can talk with the best then i want to see be able to fight the best and beat them. This isnt me hating Floyd Mayweather Jr. because he is young, rich, successfull, arrogant, big talker. Please i could careless about that i have some of those qualities although i cant say i have anywhere near the money that floyd has lol. In some threads talkin about how rich he is i have praised PBF. and there isnt no double standard i have wanted Margarito to fight DLH because i believe he deserves his big pay day as well but after he was done with DLH i wanted him to go back to fighting the best in his division. and i especially want to see him Williams and get his revenge. If he hadnt gone back to fightin the best at 147 then i would have honestly criticized my own boy Margarito for doin the same things Floyd did. I think too many people here focus more on a boxer's so called "haters" than the actual boxer himself which is a shame...
He was disliked because of political and religious reasons more than anything else. Times where different back then as well, racism and bigotry were much more in the open.
Now, most people don't care about a mans skin color, even though you seem to be obsessed with that. If he's respectfull and a good fighter, people will attach themselves to him and show him love.
Mayweather is just obnoxious and so is his uncle and father. They are classless trash that no matter how much money they have, show their true colors time and time again. That's why people don't like Mayweather.
In saying that, I think he was the best fighter pound4pound in the world before he retired.
Racism and bigotry are still on the same level it is just more hidden now. LMAO at the bold and underlined please don't fall for that shit. That is what they want people to believe but that shit is so far from the truth.

There's a bit of a difference.
Mayweather gets some hate for saying he was much better than Leonard because 'Floyd Mayweather would never lose to a Hector Camacho like Leonard did' which is a purely ignorant thing to say (he said the same about Robinson and Ali).
Margarito on the other hand said that he would be a more worthy opponent for Oscar than little Pacquiao, which is actually right.
Is it really a surprise that Floyd gets hated on? Even Mayweather himself admits that he intentionally plays the bad guy's role.
Most of what he says should not be taken seriously.
