Sorry if this is old news, would be an interesting fight to see non the less.
"Frankie Gavin has been made a lucrative offer to turn professional and fight in Las Vegas in November.
Lightweight Gavin, who pulled out of the Olympics after failing to make the weight, has been offered a deal by Oscar de la Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions company to be on the undercard of Ricky Hatton's world title bout with Paulie Malignaggi.
Birmingham fighter Gavin was one of Britain's best hopes for gold in the 60kg weight and now faces a dilemma over whether to stay amateur for London 2012 or turn professional like previous Olympians Audley Harrison and Amir Khan."
Don't follow same bath as Harrison...please no!
I think he should turn pro. He's already achieved a huge amount as an amateur and if he stayed with the vest until 2012 he'd not turn pro until he was 26, 27. He should turn over now, earn some money and start getting some belts.
Fuck the 2012 olympics, turn pro! slap some yanks about! YES!
Dunno mate, I reckon he fits amateur game perfect, his style and everything. At pro I reckon it'll be a different kettle of fish for him.
