You forget when Mayweather fought Oscar he was fighting at 154 Oscar preferred weight class, back down to 147 Mayweather is faster and more powerful. At 140 or 153 Mayweather wins a UD
From 130-140 Mayweather dominates DLH and wins a clear UD. From 147 and up, he loses some of his advantages such as speed, therefore Oscar has more of a chance.
If Mundine beats Manfredo will this open him up to the american market?
I don't think hes even been on Showtime or HBO after dark, would this be on any of those?
If he wins he should be known in america finally.
So Prime Oscar vs Prime Mayweather = Oscar UD, agreed?
I actually think if Oscar used his jab in their fight then he could have won anyway.
The only reason why i even cared to open up a thread created by you is solely to ignore your sorry ass. Your neither a very creative or intelligent hater. At least some haters make good points and are amusing to read. You're not in that lot.
No fuckin way does he walk at 155, He had trouble making 150 for the Forbes fight..
So...That is clearly bullshit. 165 sounds very possible to me
oh bro you have no idea
one time he said he was 150 at a presser for I think it was Barrera Juarez I and that 147 will be easy because he finally started working out full time etc.
everyone looked at him and laughed. We all guessed he was right around 165.
You do know the WWE routinely lies about weights and heights of wrestlers, right? So therefore are not a real valid source
I was about to say, 159 Lbs? Bull. Shit.
Mayweather was 159 lbs vs The Big Show :bottle:

Oscar says he walks around at 155......cough BULLSHIT.....but my guess is around 165

Do you know what Oscar walks around at?
No, I'm not sure tbh. One thing is for sure, He was deffinatly heavier than Mayweather, no doubt about it.
Just like how Lewis - Holyfield I was a draw
:rofl::lol1::rofl:
You should put NSFW in the title because I was unable to control my hysterical laughing when I read the original post. That fight was not close, Oscar got a gift from one of the judges.
Of course they “are not world class” after Mayweather beats them. Hatton undefeated at 140 beating Kostya undisputed light WW is not world class, then I don’t know what is.
Everyone knows Tszyu was old, even die hard Hatton fans.
Hatton is no where near elite, he nearly lost to Lazcano ffs!
I thought Oscar did enough to win the fight or at least get a draw IMO.
If the other judge scored the last round for Oscar (which he should have) it would have been a draw.
You entitled to your opinion. As for the bold that doesn't mean that shit would have been right.
None of those fighters are world class IMO.
Corrales was a good fighter (rip) not definitely not World class, I've never even heard of Hernandez and Hatton and Castillo definitely weren't either.
Corrales beats Jose Luis Castillo, Acelino Freitas and Joel Casamayor, attains the title of recognized best lightweight in the world bar none, and isn't a world class fighter? Who on Joe Calzaghe's ledger is a world class fighter because you'll only find one guy, Bernard Hopkins, with a better resume'.
Castillo is arguably a Hall of Famer and Hatton beat Kostya Tszyu, who was the recognized junior welterweight champion at the time. No sense debating with haters.
Still, it was Mayweather's most flawless exhibition. It doesn't matter who he fought at the peak of his skills, that still is his peak.
Why would you say something so blatantly incorrect as "Oscar is the only world class fighter Floyd has fought?" Diego Corrales wasn't world class? Genaro Hernandez wasn't world class? Ricky Hatton wasn't world class? Jose Luis Castillo wasn't world class?
I get it, you don't like the fella, but don't say things that just aren't true.

u like joke-cal-slappy & u think oscar drawed wit da p4p king, LOL do u watch boxing?
when has Oscar had stamina to begin with?
also if you honestly believe that fight was a SD you have obvious hate for Floyd. No way he lost more than 4-5 rounds and thats being generous. Fuck what boxrec says people rely on that shit too much anyways. What we saw in there was a young extremely skilled fighter, the best p4p, school an old slowed down former great.
period
Vic Darchinyan with a right hook=best junior flyweight
Zab Judah with focus=best welterweight
Add De la Hoya with stamina to this list of oxymorons.
