Toney or Ruiz?
Toney was back in 1994 and Jones totally outclassed him, put him p4p number 1 in the world.
Ruiz was a good Heavyweight champ. Jones outclassed him too. and made history being the first former middleweight champion to become in a heavyweight champion in over 100 years.
Both were big wins, but which one was the best?
I'm a big Tarver fan, but I can't wait for RJJ to humble that coward Calzaghe
i think Tarver is very very underappreciated he does not do himself any favours with his lazyness in the ring but he has got plenty of skill and he goes unnoticed because he beat Jones

i dont consider Ruiz a good HW champ i think he is one of the poorest ever that said it was an impressive win as Jones was a natural 160 lbs fighter
i say Toney because no matter what shape Toney was in he was to blame for it he should of got his fat ass in shape and took the fight more seriously ,Jones showed great ring intelligence to negate Toney's defensive shell and dominate him
Don't you know. Geniuses like DirkDiggler and the biggest douche on these boards Mojack think Jones spent a career ducking Calzaghe.
Why? LOL. Cause he didn't want to come to Wales to fight him.
Oh and Jones is NOT shot, nope he's in his prime. And Calzaghe is old. So this will prove Calzaghe is the GREATEST FIGHTER OF ALL TIME.
Also Calzaghe would TKO Hagler according to them.
Why are you making things up you tart?
Jones best win was Toney.........by far. Ruiz is fucking shite.
Yeah I feel the same. It just annoys the fuck out of me when people say Calzaghe could have coped with Jones in his prime. He would have had NO chance. I give him 2-3 rounds MAX
lol, look I love Jones as much as the next guy, but your having a laugh.
It took him 6 rounds to deal with Clinton Woods ffs
Big deal. Jones beat Toney when he had to lose 20 pounds in a week. Drake Thadzi beat him after that too. He couldn't make those weights. Then Jones ducked a rematch for the rest of his life. Just like he did with Hopkins.
He didnt duck a rematch with anyone.
It was all to do with the money!
Hopkins wanted a 70-30 cut which just wasnt exceptable, see as though Jones was very undefaeated amd had all those belts.
Same with james toney
I would love Roy to beat Calzaghe
But I just think he's to far down the line now, hopefully I'm wrong.

Try making an informed post next time.
If he beats Calzaghe, P4P #2, undefeated, double division Ring Champ, will that be his best ever win? I would have to say yes, given the circumstances.
I would say:
Tony: Best win
Ruiz: Making history win
Calzahe: Biggest underdog win
he should have retired after ruiz, or only fought heavyweights thereafter. if he wanted to fight tarver so bad, he should have taken off no less than 8 months to lose the weight properly and have a proper camp. it is very bad to lose more than a pound a week, especially when you're talking muscle weight.....

yep, it will be a great win. but not so sure it will be better than Toney. vs Toney EVERYONE (nearly) though Toney would knock jones out and was a 5-1 underdog. vs Calzaghe il be surprised if hes more than a 2-1 underdog, and some experts are predictiing a Jones win.
given the circumstances though, yes it will be the his greatest win of this decade.

Probably. He'd silence all of his critics put it that way
