Is this the best boxer in the olympics?
Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko has been considered one of the best amateur boxers around for some time, but just couldn't get past Russian arch-rival Alexey Tishchenko,
Tishchenko moved up to 60kg this year, & Lomachenko has gone from strength to strength since.
Here he is in the gold medal bout against tough french boxer/brawler Khedafi Djelkhir.
Lomachenko is the southpaw in the red, Djelkhir is the aggressive brawler in the blue.

Gold Medal bout at 57kg
Whats the guys name. The one in red, he's got skills
Read. The. Post.
I saw this guy's first round matches and thought that he looked exceptional. Couldnt find him since then, but assumed that he'd won gold. I'd be interested to see how his chin holds up if he turns pro, because his skill-set is incredible.
:fest30::fest30: Hell yea he deserves it, im so happy he won

Vasyl Lomachenko, that's his gold medal match
He looked great along with a guy called Degale (I don't which nationality he is) but he beat an Irishman then a Cuban to win middleweight gold.
De Gale is British
And I can't believe he broke the French guy like that, he traded those kinds of shots with the Mexican featherweight all day and persisted but when Vasyl got his shots in Khedalfi started to run, there's something special about this guy.
He's very good. Ive seen a couple of his fights. Very fast, technical, has some pop.
He said that hes not sure if he will fight in London, so I think its clear he wants to turn pro.
An unusual style for a European and a Ukrainian at that, very fluid, moves very well. Great boxer, he did whatever he wanted, cocky little bastard too, the kid is only 20.
