DISCLAIMER : If you are new to the sport, a "Floyd fan", don't know who Aaron Pryor is/was, or are just plain retarded, do not, I repeat, do NOT vote in this poll.
Who wins?
Of course. He clearly won the second fight, but it's just proving a point that a pressure fighter makes Floyd dance, but no one is able to catch Floyd when he starts dancing. Pryor would be able to, so it would be a lot like the first Castillo fight except Pryor is leagues better and hits harder.
That's what I was thinking. A tougher, stronger JLC.

Pryor lost to Bobby Young and cheated to beat a smaller Arguello.. However I still think this fight ends poorly for the cash cow. Panama's concoction or not I think Pryor matches up well to take this.
floyd will win.
who's aaron pryor?
isn't he a middleweight? i think i saw him fight the other month......
Lmao hes a JWW who beat alexis arguello has a great chin and people say leanord ducked him and he retired a while back is all I know about him.
I kept hearing people say that Castillo punished Floyd so I watched it again and scored it for Floyd by a couple of rounds. Even with that he fought him again and removed all doubt right?

take into account that floyd was fighting castillo injured and improved greatly in his next fight with castillo and his fights afterwards...and floyd at 140(imo his best weightclass as far as speed and power goes) didn't pot shot and threw more combos---i think this was the weight hewas most comfortable at when moving up---he was a killer at this weight class, only fought 3 times here, but had it all perefctly put together here...pryor had a sturdy chin at 140, but was a poor boxer and floyd's defense and great stamina would have gotten him over pryor and flyd would outclass pryor during all of this---this was floyd's weight class imo, even more so than 130...
look who he was fighting though. gatti, corley, and brusseles. pryor was pretty hard to hit with combos with that crazy movement he did. you can hit him clean with 1 shot but he will do a somersault bounce back up and keep going.
People have deluded themselves into thinking Floyd didn't take a beating against Castillo.
Take what Castillo did in the first fight and know that Pryor would do that much better. Although it wouldn't be an easy fight, Mayweather would ultimately be too skilled and polished for Pryor.

I don't think this is even close, think Castillo.
Floyd fought more world champs than Pryor and throughout more weight divisions, Floyd was outweighed by 10+ lbs and had an injured shoulder and still beat Castillo
Nostalgia is powerful though so expect Pryor to win this poll
He went to the body but you never got the feeling that Floyd was in danger of being hurt. I think Pryor presents that. I think you miss my point though. The 147lbs version of Floyd towards the end of his reign there he became more defensive then before. I'm not saying so much that he was a monster at 140lbs in particular I'm saying that he was more aggressive at that time...pre 147lbs. That style may be his undoing in a fight like this. This guy could actually have Floyd in trouble at any second. We have not see that before.
Bottom line: It's a fight I'm definitely paying money to see if it were possible.
Castillo demanded something physically of Mayweather, and he basically hit the bicycle except for the 11th.
No one should be calling Floyd a monster at 140, he only had three fights there and none were against anything close to what Pryor, a true monster at 140, would give him. His biggest win was against Gatti, who just doesn't belong in the same ring as someone as fast and good as Mayweather.
As soon as Pryor went to work Floyd would start going backwards and Pryor would make him pay for it. Arguello could do that because he was bigger and much stronger, nothing Floyd could throw would land like the rights Pryor walked through against Arguello. And it's not like Arguello was winning the fight when Pryor knocked him out.

Floyd was a more aggressive at 140lbs and imo a little faster. I actually think that would work against him. I think he would allow himself to get into more of a shootout than would be in his best interest and that could lead the hawk into winning a exciting fight. Its hard to say because I have never seen someone make Floyd really dig down and try to pull out something close in physically demanding fight so I may be selling him short.

Aaron Pryor was a monster pressure fighter. I assume it would go a lot like Mayweather-Castillo I, and this time the pressure fighter would get the nod.
Well if you read my whole post, that was one of my biggest points. You and everyone else keep talking about Floyd pot shotting because its like people only remember him since the Baldy fight. Before then he has let his hands go in 90% of his fights. At 140 he threw mad combos. Thats my point. Its like all people know about Floyd now is the pot shot guy when he's only fought that way in probably 10% of his fights. He wouldnt pot shot someone like Pryor who he doesnt fear at all size wise or physicaly
But at the same time he wouldn’t be stupid enough to stand in front of him so go figure. Floyd would have to do the inevitable which is to be an offensive fighter something that is not in his comfort zone due to his counterpunching preference/abilities. My point is Pryor would most likely take him out of his element/comfort zone as he did Alexis and force him to fight a different fight. Don’t get it twisted kid if you READ my post properly I don’t give any fighter emphatic victory over the other my point is Pryor is a very different animal.
Peace.
Yeah, but with all due respect Alexis was landing more than one punch at a time and not pop shoting ala Floyd. I’m not saying this would be a clear victory for either fighter but if there were any volume puncher that would have given Floyd fits on onset it would be Pryor.
Peace.
