I've always liked the man and appreciated his knowledge of boxing, but I've noticed a lot of people have a problem with him. Time to sound off, either defend him or rip him a new one.
I like Teddy Atlas for his boxing knowledge and wisdom.
I think he's one of the smartest living guys out there surrounding the sport (top 10 in my opinion).
He picks up on the smallest of flaws (on FNF) and makes a gameplan out of it and 9 times out of 10 times he's right.
smart guy.
He's a knowledgable guy, a pretty good commentator and I like listening to his insights during fights but I don't know him as a person so I can't say whether I like him or not as a person.
He can't score fights though.
Nor can he pick em' either.

Yeah I like Atlas he knows boxing and has a love for it. Plus his Atlas: From the Streets to the Ring: A Son's Struggle to Become a Man was pretty good. He has some good stories of about killing Danny Lalonde and then backing out. Plus his story of putting a gun to Mike's head.
No.
He's an overrated trainer, whose shining moment as a "master motivator" is exaggerated, since if you actually watch the fight in full, Moorer's lazy ass didn't even fight harder in the rounds after Atlas begged him to and gave his speeches.
Among Tyson's old trainers, Aaron "Put the Condom on Mike's eye" Snowell has a better track record than Teddy.
Atlas is also a hypocrite, always acting like he's some big conscience of boxing and gets so mad when ESPN televises a mismatch.
Gee, how many mismatches did he put Elvir Muriqi in when he managed Muriqi?
Too many to count.
today i saw a car parked that had an obama 08 sticker on it. i had a black magic marker and marked out the O and last A, so it just said 'BAM 08' for the hell of it...I don't understand how people can publicly brag about voting for an unqualified candidate, lol...
Thats easy. Because many of the people with Obama stickers dont vote. Obama is up in the polls, but down in the polls among likely voters.
I love atlas, he is one of the purest people in the sport, he realy loves boxing and his passion is refreshing
right on point, who can forget REF STOP THIS FIGHT REF STOP THIS FIGHT!
classic
I like Teddy although he is pretty predictable because he is big on the mental aspect of the game. The main reason I like Teddy though is that he says off the wall shit, and I always find that funny. His unintentional comedy makes up a little for the lack of excitement in some ESPN fights.
I also like how Teddy is a straight shooter and if he has a problem with some aspect of what is going on he will let everyone know.
I think I gave Casa rounds 1, 10, and 12 or something like that. I thought it was pretty one-sided. I'll either find my scorecard or score it again in the next couple days and we can discuss
I lost a little respect for Bernstein after him scoring Corrales-Casamayor like 10-2 for Corrales.
I had it like 9-3, not sure what the big deal was. Casa wasn't doing anything in that fight.
Hell no, he's fucking retarded. Manny Steward is starting to get just like Atlas, acting like they know it all when they're no better than half this board at calling the sport. They both hate Mayweather and go with their hearts over their heads, saying all these fighters will beat him and shit. That's just the best example. I mean he's the best fighter in the sport, yet neither of these "experts" can gauge him when we have people on HERE who can? Give me a fucking break.
Bernstein is 10000000 smarter than both of those dumbasses combined
I lost a little respect for Bernstein after him scoring Corrales-Casamayor 2 like 10-2 for Corrales.
I love the way that, no matter what happens in a fight, Steward always says "this is what I thought was gonna happen" at least 17 times before the end of the night.
:lol1: I swear he said it so many times in the Cotto Margarito match lol.

never fails
sometimes one guy will be dominating the entire fight and the other guy score a miracle KO when down 10 rounds to 1 and Steward will say, "Exactly how I thought the fight would go"
