Mosley is a marketable fighter at any weight class.. But since you mentioned Margarito, Cotto, Mosley and Judah all being marketable only one holds a title which is Margarito and Judah, Mosley and Cotto aren't really in the mix of Top WW fights being made... Williams, Clottey and Berto should be the fighters that need to be marketed and promoted better to the public. The division isn't better than LW.. I'm done for right now.. How is Cotto not in the mix? He just has 1 loss lol. Williams, Clottey, or Berto don't have that the type of styles that will make them very marketable fighters (Berto has the best shot though IMO). After Margarito & Williams fight, what's left for them? What big fights can they make on their own? Dude Cotto, not in the mix right now he's got to get a tune up and all that bullshit then, if everything goes right they might schedule a rematch or him vs a decent fighter which will take up to 6 months.. It's the toughest division in boxing bar none. The majority residing in the Top Ten will easily beat B opponents and demolish C+ and under fighters right now. If there was only one dominant fighter like in the heavyweights then the consensus will be that the entire division is crap and no one poses a challenge. The WW Division is mediocre at best, Alot of fighters in the division was overrated as well, Cotto 1st big fight he lost, Clottey quickly gets injured, Williams is a cry baby, Floyd dissappeared when he was needed most, Quintana got one lucky win and couldn't even execute a good enough game plan in the rematch. The lightweight division is the best right now but I wouldn't call the WW division a joke, just extremely inconsistent. I think fans want to see a consistent champion in the division, if not than I speak for myself. Belts change hands to quickly at Welterweight. A consistent champion like Wlad that beats the hell out of everyone and then people start complaining how the whole division is weak and the worst in boxing?

lightweight division is the best. It might be. But that's debatable. No way is the welterweight division overrated though. It's one of the best divisions in boxing if not the best.
