Do you think Breidis Prescott is a sheep dressed as a wolf?
I can't help but think about typical Warren marketing engine at work. Prescott has won 19 KO 17, hes young, hungry and a good match for Khan, but a 90% KO rate only signals to me he's been fighting bums, unless he really is that good.
He's faught mostly Columbians, Columbian bums I'm not sure of, I'd need to look them up.
Who ya got? :spankme:
ps. Breidis Prescott videos much appreciated because I can't find any
"Do you think Breidis Prescott is a sheep dressed as a wolf? ":rofl::rofl::rof
wow this brings back old memories. In hindsight I laughed at some of the responces in this thread
Am not taking by all this "John" prescott power guy, This is another Warren hype job. You know its hype when you have to use boxrec to scout an opponent.
Am fed up with using Boxrec to recognise/familiarise myself with many of Frank warren shows..He has been doing this shit since he had Naz,Hatton and Joe c so am not surprise with this latest trick.
LOL prescott is a BUM, look at him on boxrec, most of his fighters dont even have winning records, the only fighter with one he scraped a win with.
Even still if anyone has a video of him they would get showered in green K from me *hint hint*
the guy has fought a level of oppostion that is way below the level of khan - khan has been in with some good contenders grahm earl, kristanjsen and gary st clair are all good fighters. precott wont be added onto that list when he loses to khan - what i will say is that precott does have a decent chance of causing an upset due to two things: khans chin (or lack of it rather) and precotts own power being that of an actual lightweight and not a featherweight like alot of khan opponents.

This fighter is about as dangerous for Khan as a packet of chips
here a packet of chips is dangerous alright when you are trying to maintain 1% bodyfat
If Breidis Prescott has the power that is suggested in his record, Amir Khan will be in big big trouble.
But like the rest of you I do not believe this to be true.
Why would Warren put Khan in with a dangerous fighter on his first PPV outing?
Exactly...

He's most likely just a guy with an impressive record to add to Khan's resume, I doubt he's anything special, I wouldn't even be surprised if he didn't punch all that hard but he could surprise me.
Colombian power punchers are notorious for not, in fact, being power punchers. Edison Miranda had a sick KO percentage in Colombia fighting guys with losing records, and while he did have pretty good pop, he started getting taken the distance once he came to the US and went it in his first three fights there. I doubt this guy is much threat to Khan, given its the beginning of a new TV era for him.
Couldn't agree more with you, you know warrens game...
He was just about to set khan up with an old age pensioner which was a guarenteed win. Why would he switch to a dangerous opponent ? because this one looks better on paper , will he look better in the ring ? we will have to wait and find out . Im hoping to see khan take a fall. Not because i hate him, but becasue his Ego is massive and if he thinks he can call out great fighters while he is in the process of taking out bums then he can think again
I agree fully,
The guy has a good record, looks to have good power etc. But i guess we all remember Carlos Maussa's undefeated record coming out of Columbia :lol1:

If it was any other promoter I'd take it seriously, but all know how Warren protects his cashcows.
