andrade was sloppy with his punches, jungjoo kim was more accurate and fought better defensively.
andrade's behavior was disgraceful, poor sportsmanship
in frustration, he pushed kim down twice in the last minute, and refused to stay in the ring as Kim's arm was raised after the fight
:nonono::nonono: This could be the first time in history that USA doesn't win a medal.
Wow, I thought the 2000 team disappointed by not bringing home gold. Atleast they had Bronze and Silvers.
In my point of view, not at all, not in Boxing. I mean isn't Olympic boxing scored differently?
Plus they won't hesitate to rob you of that gold if they feel they need to. Rob you of a gold medal that will ultimately do nothing for you other then make you feel good?
When you turn pro, you'll get plenty of same international comp, and at the same time you'll get propper praise from the fans and experts.
I'm not sayin "f#$% the olympics lol," but definantly don't let it get to you if you lose a chance at the Gold. It's not that big of a deal. You got a professional career to prepare for.
----------------------------------------------
try telling a olympic athlete his gold medal doesnt mean anything after all the hard hours of training, all the dedication, all the sacrifises to compete at the elite level in your sport.
i do see your argument, the pros is where it really counts, but making it to the olympics is a massive achievment in itself. you cant say a gold medal doesnt actually count.

This team was very talented, but they didn't seem to have any discipline and they all seemed to take their losses badly and with poor sportsmanship. The awful scoring is clearly part of it, but at the end of the day their level of maturity shows in that they threw fits instead of took their losses like men.
I'm tryin to read up on whats goin on, and these fighters better not take these losses to heart. But somthin tells me they will, they're in the spotlight right now, and everyones talkin about them. They sound real inexperienced and just need to let this go and they need to make sure they DO NOT let this effect them when they turn pro. Especially if pro-fight scoring is BLATANTLY different then olympic scoring.
So you lost a chance at Gold, you have to go home early. Use that early time to sharpen up for some fights that will actually matter.]
----------------------------------------------
so your saying an olympic gold medal doesnt actually matter
a very lucky deontay wilder wins, thanks to the referee
it was tied at the end of the fight
the ref gave wilder two points for nothing really - i didn't see any foul by his opponent

Don't want to know the result, don't got online.
You don't see people writing "spoiler" after a fight like Cotto-Margarito.
This is NON-STOP BOXING, people want to talk about the result.
DON'T WANT TO KNOW, GO SOMEPLACE ELSE.
