Frank's version of TAKE ME BACK is as recognizable as "Yo, Adrian!!!"

Man dont take this the wrong way but I laughed my ass off when you said you were flattered that Frank Stallone knew who you were...word...Its Frank Stallone Man! He should be flattered you knew who the hell he was! Well LOL I grew up with the Rocky movies...hearing Frankie singing those songs is part of what makes Rocky, well, Rocky (Doo doo doo doo, take me back...do0 doo doo doo take me back like bef-o-o-o-re" :)

Either way, amazing. If I had apic of Chuck I would put it up...he was over in Germany with us a few months ago doing roadwork..that is when they told me hwo old he was...I am telling you, I would have guessed early 50's. Hard to believe hes in his 70's!! I mean, he doesnt act like ANY 70 plus year old I have ever seen!! Believe me, I know it. The guy is a physical marvel. A freak of nature. Its almost hard to imagine what kind of beast he may have been as a young man. One of the nicestn people I've ever met though. A real gentleman.

I actually always was under the impression that Chuck was Tiny's son or nephew...no idea at all they were close in age. CRAZY I could be wrong, but I think they were brother in laws.

I was just with Chuck not long ago..hes in his 70's but LITERALLY looks to be in his early 50's and he still jogs like 4 miles a day!! UNREAL Its hard to believe he's that old. When I was at tiny's gym in the early 90's I'd seem him often. Back then he seemed like he was in his 30's even though he was in his 50's. Him and Tiny were only a couple years apart, but chuck looked like he could have practicly been his son. Great guy, both him and Tiny, God rest his soul.

October 29, 2004: FIGHT NIGHT- Got to the fights early and ran into Vinny Paz who introduced me to Frank Stallone. I was surprised and flattered that Stallone knew who I was and, I have to say, he is a very friendly and personable guy and, to my surprise, he is a huge and very knowledgeable boxing fan. It is very obvious he knows the game and follows it very closely and, as a matter of fact, he gave me his email address so I could send him a chapter from this book I am writing now. Downstairs in our Fox Theater dressing room I find that we are sharing it several people including two guys I have sparred with in the past, young undefeated pros Matt Godfrey and Joey Spina. Joey was accompanied by his new trainer, former WBA light heavyweight World Champion Eddie Mustapha Muhammad. At 7:20 Chad (Dawson) begins getting his hands wrapped. By 7:35 we are ready to start loosening up on the mitts. Jab is popping, left hand is popping. All set to go at 8:05. The fight goes the full ten rounds. The specific things we worked on in the gym for this fight were the jab, using angles and staying calm, and boxing like a professional. All those aspects were very relevant in this victory tonight, too. Chad's first ten rounder and he responded very well. I urged him constantly to keep using the jab, keep making it so that Darnell is the one who is forced to change his plans for the night. With Chad's range and elusiveness there is just no reason to do anything different from the things that won him the first couple rounds. When Darnell begins to try and put more pressure on that is when we step it up just one or two notches. The fight ends with Chad feeling good and ready if necessary to do more rounds. The decision is unanimous for us and everyone from the fans to his promoter to Vinny Paz at ringside are impressed with his poise, jab and body work. I am, too. There is more work to be done, though. Kid is only twenty-two years old and just now becoming a seasoned pro. No rush needed. Scottie ("Sandman" Pemberton) wins the main event of the evening in another good tussle, this time with the durable James Crawford. The fight is just getting heated up in the third and features back and forth action when Scottie lands a good series of rights that cause Crawford's left eye to swell up very badly. The fight is called and Scottie is awarded a TKO win to keep his title hopes are still alive. Rematch, anyone? Ray "Sucra" Olivera is at the after fight party. Says he is set to fight a big match against Ricky Hatton at 140 next month in England. Very big looking for a 140 pounder, I first knew Ray-Ray when he was a 106 pounder in the 1985 Golden Gloves at Lowell. I was at those fights. Pete Timothy, the Foxwoods boxing commisioner is a friend of mine. I also recall meeting Ray Olivera at the club in Foxwoods after Vinny Paz's last fight and thinking he looked pretty big for a jr welter myself. In fact, I introduced myself to you John on that same night out side the club if I remember correctly. Been to so many fights there, they get confusing sometimes.

frankie stallone! cool beeeeeeeeeans!!! he was the one that sang the song to rocky and adrian when they were walking back to their house after they got married. the group of singers by the trash can on the street with fire in it. did ya know that?
