these calzaghe "ko's" are funny. the guy is not even hurt in the first round and he doesn't go down or anything and the fight is stopped. what a power puncher! guess that's how you get 32 ko's when you have no power. the myth! the legend! calzaghes punching power!
Hopkins was higher on the p4p list and coming off beating Tarver and Winky. I don’t see any names on Kessler resume good as Hopkins one. He was able to knock down Calzaghe and lose in a SD at the age of 43. I think they don’t like saying Calzaghe best win was Hopkins, it would be embarrassing saying that. That why they all hope Kessler becomes something big. I swear what I say is all true.
Who had Hopkins beat before he faced Jones?
Its the same thing. In fact, Kessler was probably a more impressive win than Jones beating Hopkins. Hopkins was still green back then after his prison stint. He didnt hit his prime till his mid to late 30s.
Kessler was double world champion and bang in his prime. And he'd beaten better competition than Hopkins before he fought Jones.
Hopkins went on to prove he was a great, maybe Kessler will too. Hardly fair to judge him now.
I swear to god watch, If Hopkins beats Pavlik. They call Pavlik overrated and claim Hopkins as Calzaghe best win. Without a doubt in my mind
Why wouldnt they? If Hopkins beats Pavlik then Pavlik is overrated (as I already suspected) and Calzaghe's win over Hopkins gains more meaning.
I hope Pavlik wins though. Would like to see Joe end the hype.....again.

I agre with some of what you say (Even as a Calzaghe fan), Kessler was un proven at the time. Although, it was a good one. Hopkins was high rated P4P coming off 2 wins off P4P Top Ten guys.
Sometimes you have too; you Calzaghe fans are bias and quite funny. Kessler is Calzaghe best win?? Yet what has Kessler done or who has he beaten to be Calzaghe best win.
I think Hopkins is a better win. Hop was rated high P4P at the time..
Eubank looked like he was about to cry for James Toney statement. Benn was utterly speechless and didn’t sound confident about fighting Toney. James Toney and Roy Jones are HOFers and ATG not Benn and Eubank. Calzaghe fans even rate Mundine to make Kessler look better and call Kessler Calzaghes best win. How pathetic, if you best win was over unproven fighter it’s sad.
Dont you get bored of repeating yourself?
Eubank told it to heart, it actually affected him. I don’t think he would be able to last a conference with James Toney in the room he would cry and ran.
It affected him? Um.....yeah totally. :You_Rock_
Respond to a childs stupidity and you give them what they want. Which is why I shall no longer respond to you.
It seems to me that you are purely ignorant.
Owned is your mother being abused on TV and you crying about and not threatening the man who said those words. Eubank cried like a girl, I felt bad for him. Shame on you Toney for embarrassing him on National TV, bad boy.
Anyone can say "yo momma". It only amuses or upsets the ignorant
Eubank was scared and afraid to reply to James Toney. Benn just stood there in utter shock and knew he wouldn’t be able to beat Toney.
Yeah he was totally scared because he didnt trade "yo momma" jokes with him. :lol1:
He made Toney look like a child in all honesty. Im a huge fan of Toney but he shouldnt be given a microphone and he got owned there.
How?? Shedding a tear about his mom getting bagged. Why didn’t tell Toney make the fight happened not sook like a little girl.
"It seems to me that you are purely ignorant" :lol1: :owned:
Benn admits he is a good fighter and also that the fight will be hard already was conceding defeat. James Toney was confident and he would have easily won if they fought. Eubank is a little girl, Toney has got under his skin and is about to cry. Look at the hand shake at the end.
Hahaha what? Eubank owned Toney there
Benn has a very akward style the best way to pin Benn down and hit him is to double the jab and follow up witht the right hand thats how Eubank put him away and how Mauro Galvano hurt him in their 2nd fight and McClellan only found him in the 9th round cause he stopped trying to knock his head off and started using the jab and he followed up and he had Benn going again in the 9th round Benn is a difficult target to hit when he bobs and weaves and comes out of rolls throwing hooks etc
Jones hardly ever uses the jab so i think he would find it hard to land cleanly on Benn what with Benn's akward low style id still make Jones favourite obviosly but in Benn he would have faced a style that he has never faced before so allthough i have him winning it would be a hard nights work for him
Benn was often little more than a slugger, who did avoid punches by ducking very low but he could still be hit rather easily. Against McClellan he took plenty of punishment, both did, he just found the courage within himself to keep going forward despite it.
As we know McClellan was never cared much for defense, Benn knew that as long as he could stay up on his two feet he would always have a chance at finding McClellan who was right there in front of him.
