Might of been done before but i'd like to see some of your Top 3 Fav fighters.
Before I begin, i'm a true boxing fan with true knowledge of the sport. I love old and new era fighters. I know my Top 3 might look like a casual fans but these are the fighters I grew up watching so they had big impacts on me and brought me to the sport.
1. Mike Tyson
2. Roy Jones Jr.
3. Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
:boxing:what's yours?!:boxing:
Well like so many others it was Tyson that really got me into boxing, so brutal and exciteing say what u will about Mike but he helped boxing alot more than he hurt it.
Tito was someone i knew was gonna be a great, loved the power and the passion he brought to the ring plus the vulnerable chin made him even more exciteing.
Louis was just plain cool!
yeah if ya'll want explain why you like these fighters? did they attract you to the sport or keep you here?
As a kid Eubank was the first fighter that i would be crushed to see lose! when his career went south, It would have been lennox I would follow (these guys mainly through the exposure on british tv) and oscar pulled me into watching US boxing and opened me up to trinidad, mosley etc.
Oscar de la hoya all time favourite. The first fighter i remember watching as a kid who i couldn't miss when he was on was Chris Eubank. Followed lennox lewis a lot when not many brits had taken to him (especially when he beat up poor bruno!) huge fan of Sugar Ray leonard (the guy is ridiculously talented). This is pretty tough!!!!!!.
all time I would have to say:
1) oscar de la hoya
2) SRL
3) Joe Calzaghe (he has put the brits on the map sue me!!!!)
active
1) Pac-man
2) Joe Calzaghe
3) Jorge Linares
I can't believe i put Joe C above Hatton but what can I say............
