I was pianfully correct in my assumption Clottey would win, Clottey IMO was still lackluster....I'm not watching anymore Zab Judah fights, I'll just read about tem if he doesn't retire...at times I feel sorry for him then I wonder what his problem is, then I think let me not judge this man, I just wont watch any of his fights. Its always like he's suppsed to win but he can never pull it out...guess the spinks fight will be his best win, that and beating mickey
I felt the same about Judah at first.
Enormous potential, but when push comes to shove he bails.
He shows great flurries in spurts, but just can't sustain it for a long period of time.
His stamina needs revising. :boxing:

Everybody can't be wrong. :boxing:
Ironic that you phrase it that way given the outcome of Judah-Baldomir...
People are wrong often. Everybody can say he's done at WW, even I wont argue too vehemently against that... but at Jr. WW I think he's more than capable for competing for a belt.

You must've missed the part that it's a potential outcome.
There isn't much in the way Zab could've done given his limitations with Clottey. He's got a solid chin, solid defense, and stronger punches. He could've tried to box more, but that wouldn't have been enough given the point in the fight most likely.
The fight was closer than a lot of people like to talk about it, despite Baldomir winning. Judah simply can't hurt Baldomir. His chin is rock and when Judah realized he couldn't hurt him and vastly underrated his abilities he got a lesson in humility on a big stage.
At 140 Zab's power is more impressive and chins are weaker. Once again: Nothing Judah showed tonight makes him a bad fighter.
Ok. You know what?
I got over heated a bit over this fight.
But I don't think judah's getting any better at 140 or 135, or any other weight for that matter.
Mayweather knew that way before he fought him.
But, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Yes. A potential outcome that will prove he's done as a legitimate contender.

He's a professional fighter that could've made smart adjustments against Clotttey for Christ sakes!

He lost against Baldomir.

Why ask stupid questions?
If he goes down to 140 and can't perform then he is done. But you're not debating or bringing any facts to the table; you're merely pointing to a potential outcome.

CLOTTEY!
But he came up short.
He lost against Baldomir.
BALDOMIR, for Christ Sakes!
What does that prove?:boxing:
My goodness.
Ok. Let's say he goes down to 140.
If he doesn't perform at his best, what does that make him? :boxing:

Let's say there's a good chance he can drop down to 140.
Anyone willing to make a bet with me that if he lands an uppercut on Hatton's chin, Hatton takes it like nothing?
My goodness.
Ok. Let's say he goes down to 140.
If he doesn't perform at his best, what does that make him? :boxing:
A junior welter weight.
What kind of question is that?
So he's not worth a damn because he's fighting in one of the most (if not the most) loaded division in boxing? He's hardly a perfect fighter, but at 140, which he can easily make, he'll be more than a contender. If he really straightens up he could still make noise at 147 too, although it does seem like fighters are just built a little too solid for him at WW.
My goodness.

Zab is way too tiny at 147
he's like what 5'7 ish? and Cotto who's the same height is much thicker for the weight.
if Judah can get down to 143, why not fight at 140?
Paulie vs Zab would be a good comeback fight, and marketable as hell.

Acceptance is the first key to recovery.
Judah didn't show anything in this fight that suddenly makes him a bad fighter or incapable of fighting on a championship level. You can bitch about his attitude all you want, but it wont change the fact that he's still a solid, solid fighter.
He's a good contender for upcoming fighters, but he's done as a solid prospect for any title.
He's had plenty of opportunities to prove his worth.

Would love to see him against Margarito. :boxing:
You know what?
I'm not even gonna go there any more. :boxing:

How is that remotely relevant to Judah's career continuing? He thinks he was head butted, what... he's gonna' boycott fighting until the decision is reversed? He's going on a hunger strike? It doesn't fucking matter.
You know what?

I respect anyone's opinion about the potential of a fighter, but Judah actually claimed he was head butted, and that's why he couldn't continue.
The videos showed otherwise.
What is your explanation for that. :boxing:

Apparently you were joking about the debate part. It's ok, baseless arguments don't get you very far against me anyways.
