Seriously. The fight was dull. Neither left their imprint in rounds. Terrible fight neither deserved to win. I didnt like it at all.
Margarito UD Clottey again.
That's the best av I've seen on here...best fighter of all time. Made Sylvia his bitch, Couture, AA, Barnett, whoever, it doesn't matter
You've already said this before man :boxing: But I thank you again anyway.
clottey was healthier than margarito(rust+wrist and ankle injury....requiring surgery...) the first time...clottey seriously lacks consistency....
Maybe, but Marg had those injuries before he got in the ring with him. To get an injury during the course of the fight has to be pretty tough & mentally taxing.
On the contrary, I was quite impressed by Clottey. He's a very skilled, orthodox fighter with a lot of physical strength and few flaws.
I agree with this too. He looks very hard to beat. I'm not certain he quite posseses the attacking threat to beat boxers with a decent workrate who he can't outmuscle. I think for example he'd probably lose to Williams, and he certainly wouldn't beat up Cotto like Margarito did, but everything you say is correct.
I didnt say Clottey is a push over. He is a tough mother. Any man who goes 12 rounds with Margarito is a tough worthy game opponent in my book. I just think he should fight someone like Berto. Beat him up or beat up another welterweight. Look impressive as hell. And a margarito-clottey fight is then built up and looking hella exciting. You know?
i can agree with that man.
I'd love to see Margarito vs Clottey II. There's no way in hell Marg's walking over Clottey in any fight. He didn't do it in the first fight & I still think a healthy Clottey can eek out a decision against him.

they were both impressive in their own ways...
sure it wasnt margarito v. cotto...and this wasnt the BEST fight to follow up such an action packed fight but it wasnt bad...
zab has a ton to be proud of...
as max Kellerman said he stuck in there not just to say he's still fighting but he really showed the heart that he really wanted it and he stuck to the gameplan and didnt melt down...zab (in my opinion) deserves a pat on the back...
clottey was pretty good defensively (other than protecting against body shots...he took a lot of those) and the lead rights were busting zab up. he definately gets props from me on that...
i just didnt like how he just put his hands up and walked forward without a jab or remembering to protect from body shots.
overall they put on a good fight...
I agree with this, Zab actually continued the improvement in mentality he'd shown against Cotto and Clottey boxed a controlled, tactical performance. I enjoyed the fight and wish it had gone on longer.

All good man and yes they both were impressive. Judah is a better fighter when he isn't looking for K.O's. I want him to fight at 140 he'd prove to be the best 140 pounder. In all honesty, Paulie, Hatton, Toress ain't got shit on Zab @ 140
Torres would decapitate Judah....Malignaggi would outfight him...even shitman has a chance...
dunno man, i think clottey is the toughest fight for tony. tougher than will even.

When i think of impressive i think of a knockout, a 12 round beating, or winning a tough decision knocking a guy down a few times. You know things of that nature. Even schooling the fighter.
Not standing there blocking punches. Judah showing heart, whats impressive about that? I dont think he showed heart. He was just fighting. He faced no trouble what so ever. He suffered a nasty cut and it was stopped. I am not hating on the fighters. I just think Clottey needs to get an impressive win before fighting Margarito. Like what he did to Corrales.
Seriously. The fight was dull. Neither left their imprint in rounds. Terrible fight neither deserved to win. I didnt like it at all.
Margarito UD Clottey again.
Margarito has nothing to worry about with these two. Boring, no suspense.
Margarito could fight both in the same night & win.

I don't imagine we'll be seeing any welterweights putting Clottey on their wish list. Yet he still forgot to mention the name Paul Williams on his.
I haven't seen any of the welterweight champions mention Paul Williams.
