Margarito jogging fter Cotto had an effect, as well as Cotto creating wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much space when he reset. He would all but back himself into the ropes and Margarito would pressure him there.

Cotto was dishing out his best, and when he saw that Margarito still had the will, the desire, and the want to move in on him forward, it didnt really help miguel out. plus the punishment, it was all part of it. Right before the fight was stopped, Cotto retreated (diagonally) across the ENTIRE ring then Marg basically RAN over to him. This was right before the 2nd knee.
