I am from Copenhagen and so i can be biased, but ther than Wlad, Kessler is the best fighter in the world. Who would stand a chance at super middlweight against Kess?
Do you think he'd have beat Calzaghe if it hadn't been broken?
No,not in Wales, but the fight had been very close,in copenhagen Kessler would had won a close UD:boxing:
For the last time i am not an alt pal, but love my fighters. Kessler has better technique than Calzaghe and was inexperienced. Let him have a few good wins against top elite competition, and he would beat Cal.
he had like 39 fights n had defended his world title at least 5 times - u cant call that inexperience
haha. Well I actually posted about it when I joined the site. It's difficult speculation but I guess any fighter will tell you that missing 3 weeks of sparring up to a big fight is going to cost you. Kessler himself didn't make any excuses and said that the hand felt fine in the fight.
The thread is here and a actually stated that I thought Kessler would've won... http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=166917
Should the unlikely event of a rematch occur I'd be happy to bet all my points on a Kessler victory.
Lucky for you it never will :boxing:

I didn't know you guys spoke danish??????
Yes it's true. Kessler had surgery on the hand on Nov. 15 and had it plastered for 4 weeks. After that followed a lenghty rehab.
The above info is from Kessler's website.

Is that really true that Kessler had a broken hand? He sure didn't fight like it. As for Joe, his hands are problems, and I think 'not having hand trouble' means for him that they just aren't broken.

Calzaghe had no trouble up to this fight. Kessler did. As I've stated several times he didn't have any sparring in the lead-up to the fight and fought the entire fight with a broken right hand that required surgery afterwards.
To the thread-starter (who might be an alt) I'd say first of all that Kessler was plenty experienced going in to the Calzaghe fight. Check his record. And Kessler is the top-dog of the SMW's. To bad no big name has any desire to share the ring with him.

Selvfølgelig er han et alt. Idioten tror jo han kan snakke "dansk" også siger han alt muligt på tysk og sådan noget pis :D.
Joe Calzaghe has had bad hands for years..
