For the last time i am not an alt pal, but love my fighters. Kessler has better technique than Calzaghe and was inexperienced. Let him have a few good wins against top elite competition, and he would beat Cal. he had like 39 fights n had defended his world title at least 5 times - u cant call that inexperience

haha. Well I actually posted about it when I joined the site. It's difficult speculation but I guess any fighter will tell you that missing 3 weeks of sparring up to a big fight is going to cost you. Kessler himself didn't make any excuses and said that the hand felt fine in the fight. Yes it's true. Kessler had surgery on the hand on Nov. 15 and had it plastered for 4 weeks. After that followed a lenghty rehab. The above info is from Kessler's website. Do you think he'd have beat Calzaghe if it hadn't been broken?

Is that really true that Kessler had a broken hand? He sure didn't fight like it. As for Joe, his hands are problems, and I think 'not having hand trouble' means for him that they just aren't broken. As I've stated several times he didn't have any sparring in the lead-up to the fight and fought the entire fight with a broken right hand that required surgery afterwards.
