I agree that would be great to watch HOWEVER, I believe he needs to fight Paul Williams next to shut all of his critics up.
It's funny how the "most avoided man in boxing" now has critics for his choice of fights....
Although, I agree he should fight Williams some time next year.
I still want to see him try.

I know...was a joke.
Yes, only because I want to see it:boxing: Seriously though, Shane really is somewhat similar to Margarito in that he likes to brawl and has a very good chin. I think these two could mix it up for 12 rounds and it would be a classic fight.
Good point. I'll have to give the edge in stamina to Margs though..
lol, that was a bait post.
Anyway, do you really feel Marg should fight Shane?

Dude, dont get mad at me that Steele was doing his job and stopped the fight because Meldrick wasnt responding.
fuck it...I'm gonna go shoot some hoops
Has nothing to do with the opinion. You think it was a legit stoppage then so be it. To each their own.
But, the basketball analogy is really, really, stupid. Taylor himself could have come up with something better.

I hope we can still be friends.

No one could have hurt anyone in the last 3 seconds thats why he's saying let them fight. It would have gone to cards and the man who control the fight for the most part would have won.
It's not about whether taylor could have been hurt in the last few seconds. IT's about Taylor already being hurt to the point that he's unable to respond with time left on the clock = KO
Chavez knocked taylor out with seconds left end of story. Use logic and stop relying on your emotions when determining who "deserved" a win.
that's funny
he didn't have to knock him out....I'm being very serious when I say you are a moron.

Let's all be happy no one died, seriously. I think one more big shot would've been disastrous.
it was 2 second in the fight and JCC was on the other side of the ring
lol, so you're saying meldrick could have knocked chavez out in the last three seconds? NO, it was over Chavez wins. If Steele had intentionally allowed the clock to run down in order for it to go to the scorecards he would have been favoring Taylor instead of making the appropriate call.

First off, paragraphs.
Second off, that whole basketball analogy is moronic. It makes no sense at all as boxing is scored differently then basketball. Even if it did make sense, if there are seconds left on the clock the other team would still get a chance to come back after the go ahead 3....
