It annoys the fucking hell out of me when the media (maybe it's only in Britain that it happens) talk him up like he's the dogs bollocks, referring to him such ways as "one of Britain's greatest", "an all-time great" etc. In my opinion he's fucking shite and has never beaten a prime world class opponent. Maybe this is widely accepted and common knowledge now but I haven't been around for a while. Something else which annoys me is when Hatton fans talk about how exciting he is to watch and call him the Manchester Mexican.
In his last 6 wins he's fought 2 absolute fucking boring unanimous decisions, against Urango he ran like a scared f4ggot at times and was hurt to the body, and against Lazcano he would have been stopped if the ref didn't cheat. The Collazo fight he lost anyway so that doesn't even count. Then the win against Castillo was an absolute farce, they trying to bill it as a prime Castillo. Hatton saying "There was more excitement in them 4 rounds than Floyds career", oh my fucking God. The Maussa fight, again Hatton was lucky with his cuts, he wasn't far from being stopped. Maussa was no more than a lucky journeyman who fought an overhyped fighter at the right time and picked up a paper title. We all know that the Tszyu fight was just another case of Frank Warren pitting his fighter against an over the hill, shot fighter at just the right time.
Who has Hatton fought that makes him a future hall of famer, or an all time great, or one of Britains best ever, or any of these other fucking stupid monikers they refer to him by?
I'm fucking sick of this. I feel like saying the word fuck alot today, for fucksake.
Hatton will probably have made close to £100m when it's all said and done, and all he's acheived in that time as far as greatness goes is getting his fucking pasty ass handed to him by a legitimate "world class" fighter. Other than that I see nothing he's done which stands out. Titles are 10 a penny in this day and age, saying "Oh well, he is a 20 time champions" holds about as much water as Anoraks bowels after a night on the curry with Danny Williams down the local mosque.
Paulie Malignaggi is shit, and it wouldn't even surprise me if he takes Hatton the distance and makes him look even more dumb and one-dimensional than he already does (if it's possible). He didn't fight Witter and now Witter slipped up he'll never have to which is a real shame. Timothy Bradley isn't really anything yet, although he's got a decent style enough for Hatton not to be interested in wanting to fight him. Kotelnik is a bit shit and I wouldn't be surprised if Hatton wants to fight him some time down the road. Manny Pacquiao would make Hatton his bitch, probably knock him out.
God you fucking whining crybabies never stop do you.
Remember when Cortez did this?
Fight inside? More like wrestle inside.
Everytime I see this KO, I think the voice in Hatton's head said something like ..... "OK May, just stand in front of me, while I telegraph this left hook and keep my right hand down".
If you call the referee not letting him fight on the inside for 6 rounds and then deducting a point for punching a rope a conspiracy, then yeah, it was a conspiracy.
Especially when Floyd was never warned for holding, turning and elbowing Hatton repeatedly. Cortez for some reason didn't let Hatton fight inside and made them separate the instant RH worked his way in. The only time the fight was allowed to be inside is after Hatton got tired and hurt in the 8th after he lost his composure from the point deduction...
thats Frank Warrens matchmaker for you!
Warren is part of the problem with the pro sport. He needs to listen to the fans and actually test his fighters.
I wouldn't agree with the last bit, there were periods where Mayweather didn't look comortable. He also looked totally extatic and relieved when he won, which would suggest it wasn't as easy for him as you think. After all Hatton is a spoiler, his only serious tactic was to get in Floyds face and wear him down. No fighter likes fighting people like this, as it is a fustrating tactic to try and box against. I agree, it didn't work and Hatton got ktfo, but Mayweather didn't walk it.
I've watched the fight and thought to myself 'if i was floyd i'd be getting discouraged and frustrated as fuck', even if he was feeling this, he didnt show it, a mark of thourough proffessionalism. Floyd usually celebrated as if he'd just been declared supreme ruler of all the universe, thats just the way he is and dont forget the fight was a huge event and hed just ko'd a previously unbeaten fighter
It wasnt effective agression, it was almost amateurish, like i said after 10 years as champ and a lifetime in the sport do you not think people had not tried this method before? Mayweather had probably had scores and scores of rounds in the gym where his sparring partners orders were 'try to take his head off'. You do not beat a fighter of such pedigree by charging like a bull and trying to over-awe him, Castillo had better luck, his aggression was far more controlled and he paced himself. Look at Mayweathers expression during the bout, he never looked flustered or in danger, not once.

no he couldn't, there were times in that fight where he was running from hatton and ducking down and turning his back just to get away from him because HAtton was so aggressive, a proper ref wouldn't have allowed that

Says the dude who gave Hatton more than 2 rounds against Money May.
Read my post man, that's how they think. Don't ready the words, read how the lines are going.
He's got himself the opportunity of fighting a legit wold class fighter in Jermain Taylor for the vacant WBC Super Middleweight title. In fact, Jermain Taylor is scared of Froch, and so is Jean Pascal. Regardless, whoever he ends up beating for the title, I'd fancy him to go on and unify the SM division. Who is there to stop him? He's got alot of potential, the future is bright, and I haven't really seen any weaknesses in him.
LMAO...worst post in history!!!!
your actually saying an almost world champion who is going up against someone who got tanned by a ghost(twice) is better that a SEVEN time world champion???
your mental...get out of PBF'S arse and see the light...i say again...WORST POST TO HAVE EVER BEEN WRITTEN!!!!!!!
Offended? fuck off with your orange, blue, red, green, black or white K you nerd. Hatton is a BUM. straight up.
I'm not disputing that. I'm just putting it out there that you are a cunt.
Just red k'd this poster for being a cunt.

Hatton is not the best that ever lived among with Joe Calzaghe and other fighters from the old continent. The reason people hate on him so much and not on Joe Calzaghe is ONE loss when he carefully had it all planned for years. "After the Gatti fight i thought Mayweather wasn't strong enough for me", he knew the crazy white driven media would catapult him straight to the number one p4p position had he won vs Mayweather, who was already 30 and not particularly strong to hold Hatton at bay. Similary, Joe Calzaghe was sitting quiet waiting his chance. The British assault finally came. Hatton lost, Calzaghe won (barely made it out of the first but the 43 year old Hoppkins wasn't no longer capable of doing 12 hard rounds, so Calzaghe was victorious)
. That was the main difference between these two fighters, both from the UK, both only decent enough and both capable of generating EXTREME hype if they win, and EXTREME hatred in the case they lose "how dare you failing!!!"
My 2 cents.
Are you serious? Click my name and check the comments I made about Floyd and how he is a runner,I am not defending him at every turn,I am not even a fan of Mayweather I just don't like it when he is discredited for a dominant performance that ended in a KO.You are the leader of the Hatton bandwagon and as the only member you need to continue and post bullshit excuse after bullshit excuse to justify his loss when him laying on the canvas should of done that for you.
Now you are going to say the ref caused Hatton to only land 17% of his shots and whenever they were going toe to toe{which was alot}the ref should of blocked Mayweathers punches and especially that left hook:bottle:
ahh, so ur a hatton hater.
FMJ could handle any infighting Hatton could bring (see mayweather v chavez) but theres no getting away from the fact that Hatton doesnt fight 'clean' on the inside, he mauls, elbows and pushes and holds and hits, this is afterall, Boxing.
