Miguel Cotto owns. Classy as usual and gracious in defeat. He just needs a few tweaks to his chipset and the CottoCop/Terminator will be back and better than before. He said he'll be back in the gym before years end so I assume his next fight will be in February or in March. Can't wait for the rematch.

Basically, when given the chance to give excuses, he just said that he wasn't going to take anything away from Margarito, who fought a great fight and did everything he had to do. THIS is why Im a Cotto fan. He is a warrior in the ring, but even in defeat he exudes class. There are a lot of fighters out there who could take a lesson from him. Fans as well.

Very nice, Cotto gave Margarito all the credit told the press he tried everything from plan A-B-C-D and nothing worked, they also asked him how come he didn't go to the body more, and he told the press "We tried, I just couldn't" the man made no excuses a true class act mad respect for a true warrior.

He also said that the opportunities to go to the body weren't there and that's why he didn't attack it as much as he has in other fights. My opinion is that he didn't want to stick around too long and was looking to just box instead of sit down on some body punches.
