Look, I'm not biased towards any of the two fighters here so attacking me only shows your worth. I'm trying to understand WHY people actually think PW can beat Margarito, hell maybe I'll even get persuaded to adopt your prediction. But frankly right now I still ain't and your post isn't helping. I never said PW was overrated, I just said he hasn't been tested yet, meaning if he were to get tested and pass with flying colors I'd probably be making the same prediction you are, until then stop twisting my words. As for Haye, I just think he's an exciting fighter and I think he's good for boxing, I'm not hyping him up or nothing. Bringing up Matthysse is possibly the stupidest thing you could've done. Williams with his size, work rate and chin, negates much of the advantages Margarito has over opponents. They could fight 10 times and come out 5-5 each. I notice Williams get knocked on in here a lot and it makes no sense to me. He and Margarito both throw a million punches, both have vulnerabilities, both are tough as nails and both will fight anyone. I like them both. How someone can be a fan of one of them and not the other puzzles me.

I can't see Margie beating fighters of his size or greater due to the loss of his obvious advantages at ww. PW nulls all the advantages he has except chin but that only means he will use less D and more chin which doesn't win fights! PW by UD!

Styles makes fights. Williams did an excellent job at boxing Margarito from the outside and tying up when Margarito tried to work on the inside, completely nullifying his entire game. Williams could definitely do it again and i woudln't be shocked if he did, but with that said, you case make a case for Margarito being smarter next time by starting faster and throwing more punches.

What?? If you want to talk about overrated and beating a bunch of nobodies start with the guy in your av. Margarito never hurt Williams to the body, never once did Williams stop punching and his body language say he was hurt, of course haymakers to the body caused him to hunch, but right away he responded with punches and movement. Cotto looked hurt 100 times vs Margarito and Williams never looked hurt once. Matthysse isn't a big enough puncher for you?? If Cotto took the shots Williams did vs him he would've quit again. Williams is bigger, faster, a better boxer, has more volume with his punches, more looks and angles to give, just as good a chin, and power is equal in my opinion when Williams sits on his punches.
