How to beat Margarito??????

................. Santos beat marg and he didnt punch hard....he did what u said pot shot ...jab jab...and ran around all night and beat him twice...... mayweather is 1000 times better than santos....... santos couldnt keep marg off of him either..... marg just kept coming ...but santos would pap pap...take that with you...and kept circling him...... last night marg landed his shots against cotto...against santos all you saw was marg moving forward...and hardly landing any blows...... it was a borefest....but you gotta do what you gotta do..... mayweather versus marg a borefest...pot shot jab fest and a frustrated marg never landing anything of consequence....

If you back him up he's nowhere near as effective. As I've been saying all along, you can't run from him because the faster you run the faster he chases you. You need to throw the jab and keep him off balance, then push him back with punches. It's easier said then done when you have a guy with Margarito's chin. He fights almost like Glen Johnson only with more activity. Johnson has a superior defense though. i agree but aside williams i don't see anyone even coming close, and i still am gonna favor tony in a rematch with williams. if cotto could not push tony back with those shots not sure anyone at 47 can!

Simple as boxing him and keeping a high workrate. Via Paul Williams. we will see in the rematch if they have it. i think tony will win this time, but you never know.

............... lol......Its much easier than that just watch his fights with santos .......... santos beat him twice by boxing him........ only thing was santos was a big dude like marg....... one dimensional is easy to beat........ marg will last long if he stays in division and dosent fight williams..... if he moves up in weight class as he should being that he's a big dude.... he'll fight a guy like santos and get beat again......
