yeah as far as money is concerned i guess you're right, but it would eliminate the debate on the best welterweight if floyd stays retired (which probably won't happen). I think Margarito would beat the shit out've Williams.
You must have missed their first fight. Margaritio doesn't want a second and his interview clearly showed that. If Margarito decides to fight Delahoya I will tear apart any thread that criticizes Mayweather for taking the fight with Delahoya over margarito and cotto. There are a lot of hypocrites who will be exposed big time on that topic.
What bigger fights who is out there, name these guys. The only 2 bigger fights for Margarito are DLH and PBF and i do not know how those fights would get made. A rematch with Cotto is a bigger fight also i guess but why would they do an immediate rematch.
Williams is crap Marg has bigger bouts on the horizon.
That "crap" beat Margarito. "Crap" is Oscar Delahoya who's lost 3 of his last fights. Is that the "bigger" thing you're talking about?

Williams beat Margarito once already and I doubt De La Hoya will try his hand with Margarito as it's such a risky fight for him
Styles make fights and I think Williams would have the style to beat Margarito so I'm still going with Williams but I think Cotto will want a rematch with Margarito.
I know this might not be likely, since Williams is looking to move up, but Margarito-Williams 2 would really be for linear Welterweight supremacy.

I think Margarito would win the rematch, as he's stated before he started off too slow in that fight he's learned from that mistake. He almost came back to win that fight too, and he just proved that no matter how hard you hit him he will not go down. He'll put the same kind of pressure he did on Cotto and KO Williams.
If Paul Williams does not move up in weight Margarito does need to avenge that loss. It is actually the most logical fight for him if there is not a rematch with Cotto right away.
