In addition to what everyone else said, despite looking like he was in tremendous shape his conditioning was awful. He looked totally gassed in the later rounds.
He has way too muscle bound, makes him get fatigued much easier.

I think like what a lot has been said his team are not picking the right
fights for him to gain confidence and look good in
But 3 fights is it T? And he looked shit in everyone
It aint good,.
I watched it twice. He showed heart definitely but also a lot of weaknesses. One his balance was pretty bad. And that directly correlated to his stamina he was tired and had no legs. Two his power has suffered from the shoulder surgeries. Three his defense is not good at all.
He won the fight though. I think he squeaked out the 9th and out hustled Mendoza in the 10th to get the decision.
Overall he needs to just work on his defense and pace himslef earlier in the fight. I'm not sure he'll do well against top competition. But if he wants to rejuvinate his career he needs fights like these to build up his confidence. Because it was indeed a gritty win.
As someone else said. He looked amazing in the first round. Very quick hands, snapping jab, crisp punches. Then he got caught and it all went downhill from there. Let us not forget though that Mendoza can punch. And the initial punch that hurt him landed on the top of the head and that can mess up a fighters balance.
Since his devastating loss to Calzaghe, Lacy's team has grossly mismanaged this guy's career. I've said this many times, Lacy's people should have been putting him in with low level competition in order for him to gain back some of his confidence and swagger. Instead, they've been matching Lacy up against some pretty solid opponents with very mixed results...
Lack of confidence hasn't affected his gunslinging style and doesn't have anything to do with his poor chin. It's not confidence Lacy lacks, it's skills and ring smarts. He looked amateurish against Mendoza and should've lost the fight.

3 I think it is. I have heard a few say that he should have lost to Peter Manfredo, I myself did not score it. And many say that he was lucky last night...
Not sounding good
To make it short. He looked like poo poo.
Its over for him mate i think.
His had like what 2 or 3 fights since the Joe fight?
Totally runined just isnt the same fighter..

I think were just hoping Lacy was gunna land a big punh and take Joe out. It'd like, he hasn't landed shit all for 8 rounds and is getting beaten silly...
Just stop it...
Jesus. That fight is sadistic..

Aint that the truth T...
At least pulled him out after 7 or 8 rounds man it was obvious he wasnt
gonna win that fight

The nicest thing the ref or his corner could have done is to have stopped that fight. Being beat up like that for 12 straight rounds just messed him up.

It sounds like the Man is Dun stick a fork in him...
He mentally has not recovered from that Joe beating
he would of been better off had Joe knocked him spark out and that was that
but the purlong beating over 12rds has fucked ya man up...
