Owen Hart, that was before the match started though He was still alive when they carried him out of the ring. Edit : I guess I was wrong From wikipedia Owen had actually died while still being tended to in the ring. The cause was later revealed to be internal bleeding from blunt chest trauma.

Many fighters have died in the ring , I posted the entire list its a :pat:wonder nobody saw it . The list you posted wasn't specifically people who died in the ring, it was people who died from boxing.

I don't know many, if any, who have actually died in the ring, instantly, although there have been many cases of boxers going into coma and never waking up. wasnt srr style really brutal before and he changed it after he killed that guy?? at least thats what i heard Emille Griffith, Ray Mancini and Gabe Ruelas were a few fighters that never seemed to fight the same again after killing men in the ring. They seemed to lack the same intensity imo. Im sure there are plenty of others.
