how good is gamboa?

gamboa 26 i aint really watched much of him but he had a superb am career and he looks half decent

If Gamboa keeps his hands down Juanma might take him out, he has the power to do it. De Leon was a sturdy fighter and look what Juanma did to him.. i wanna see that fight as well. juanma at 126. lights out for gamboa.

im no khan fan, but hes no joke....if he wasnt so highly hyped by the english media hed probably have a lot more boxing fans excited about him.... im english and i cant help but root for his opponent every time i see him fight....im sure id suppourt him on a world level though.... your right about him moving up in weight...i think the size factor is crucial to him looking impressive....and his power isnt deadly against better competition....

I think Lopez is too polished for Gamboa right now but if Gamboa improves his defense, I'd pick him.

Gamboa is 26 which is still relatively old to start a pro boxing career but it's because he had a very long amateur career in Cuba. He has a lot of potential, it's hard to say if his defense has improved because his last fight ended inside a round but if he can correct his bad habits, he can be a force to be reckoned with. And Khan fights at 135 although I have read a rumor that he's moving down to 130 but Gamboa has just moved down to 126. Honestly, i doubt Khan will be able to make 130. yup. there is no way gamboa will get to khan's weight and fight. 126 looks like his good weight to be at.
