Who has put on a show that has mesmerized you so far? Here are some of the best offensive perfomances thus far........
1. Rafael Marquez- Even though he lost what a show he put on. He landed any and everything he wanted of Vasquez.
2. Kelly Pavlik- Complete dominance. He put together his punches well. A combination of jabs, hooks, and crosses. He punched right through Lockett's defense.
3. Manny Pacquiao- Blazing past Diaz in great fashion. And his right hand was unreal something that use to be a weakness of his. And then he finished it off beautifully with left hands in the 9th. A complete destruction of a worthy opponent.
Honorable mention.....
Cotto in a sick way it was amusing watching him toy with Gomez.
It's gotta be the Texas Rangers. They have some serious bats. 5 guyings hitting over .300 and a team average of .282 and that one dude has almost 100 rbis before the all star break.
Their pitching ain't too hot but they are the offensive performers of 2008.
You know what? I think you are right. I was watching an Angels game and they went up like 10-5 or something and the Rangers came all the way back and won in extras.
How can you have Marquez on your list and not Israel??? Pretty nonsensical.
I'll go for Juan Ma's destruction of Ponce.
Not really all he did was throw straight shots. He has a basic offense. Pretty simple he loads up on his money punch. Congrats to him he won. Landing one punch the entire night and doing nothing else is not a great offensive performance. Pretty sensible in my eyes.
It wasnt huge but i will tell you that i really admired it...especially for still being able to get it on like that.
it was... yes tito had a 2 1/2 yr lay off and he was fighting higher than he ever had...
but on roys note, no former HW has EVER, weighed 169 1/2 pounds to fight... let alone at 39 years old, to make a weight he hasnt made in 10+years... and still perform scoring two knockdowns, at his age... it is credible

pac-man HANDS DOWN
If you wanna pull the level of opposition card then I say Margarito and Willimas. Both scored brutal KO's over top ten guys in a loaded welterweight division.
Exactly, Reed.
Of course you're gonna put on an incredible offensive display if your opponent is just a little better than a heavy bag! Beating on Gary Lockett, David Diaz, and Contender Gomez need not count.
I'm not even a big Juanma Lopez fan but he is the clear winner in this category. Against a top fighter, he was explosive. Kudos to him.
cotto over gomez was goood...
although i dont think we should be mentioning elite fighters against c level fighters
but u mentioned pavlik and lockett... so cotto and gomez should get mention
