Who is better: James Toney
Why? -- His ability to counter punch from different angles and positions, though mostly the counter right, has enabled his career to last well beyond what people assumed, and helped Toney win titles from Middleweight to Heavyweight and continue to be active going into his 40th Birthday.
Bernard Hopkins, imo. It's all pretty close, but even at 43 Hopkins countering skills are amazing.
Toney has the best offensive set, Hopkins best countering, and Mayweather best defense. They are all dead close imo.
