Boxing forum brought us this news: Calzaghe says that after Jones hes going to move down to 168 and have a bout with Pavlik, atleast thats the plan! What do you think about this fight?
Dude are you SERIOUS? Look how Hopkins knocked Calzaghe on his ass in the first round and then look how Hopkins lost to Taylor twice and look how Pavlik knocked Taylor on his ass also! Calzaghe is too old and doesnt have a chance sure he can fight a 43 yr old Hopkins but not a mid 20's Pavlik! NOT A CHANCE
Triangle theories don't work it's been proved.

NOT A CHANCECalzaghe will make Pavlik look like Lacy and I'm not kidding, look at the Taylor fights and look at Taylor's POOR footwork. That and Calzaghe's fast southpaw jab is going to have Pavlik off balance all the time and confused.
lololol he's a man! he barely survived the power punching of bernard hopkins watch out lololol.
So just so we're clear you think the idea that Joe will not be KOd by Pavlik is laughable?
People, Pavlik is not KOing Calzaghe. Joe has never been KOd in his entire career, and Pavlik isn't going to be the man to do it.

Pav by late KO. I think the workrate by Pav and also that of which JC likes to output, will put JC in harms way too much and he will get caught late. JC doesn't have the power to back Pav off and he can walk in throwing at will rather fearless. JC is better to stay outside, pick his flurries and try to outpoint him. I think the reach Kelly has will make it difficult to outbox him as I just said though, on the outside. Regardless of everyones opinions, I can't wait for this fight to happen. This, after the RJJ fight, is THE one I wanna see go down. Should be a good night for boxing regardless of the outcome.
Right now I would say Calzaghe UD, around 8 rounds to 4. Pretty much a replay of the Kessler fight. Who knows how much Joe will age over the next 12 months though, could be a different story by the time the fight actually comes off.
