I could see Haye starting very fast and would out hustle Toney until he landed a big shot and then he'd KO him. Not a good fight for Toney...

As of right now...I would have to go with Haye by UD or SD...Toney is damn near shot and he is looking very slow IMO...His fight with Rahman last night showed how he is slowing down... Haye is still young and has some decent power and will out work Toney...I just dont see Haye KO Toney..Toney might be old but he still make fighters miss with his defense.

i think haye may pick toney to be his next opponent because he's a big name but not a big puncher. tbh im not sure who would win this. i like both fighters. toney still has the skills to trouble haye. haye is much quicker than all the HW's toney has faced and so he will get through a lot more.

Only seen Haye fight once. Toney could be Haye and the quality of the fight would depend on which James Toney showed up. I missed the fight last night. I know it only went 3 rounds can someone tell how the fighter were looking?

This is a very possible matchup in the HW decision, I dont see there being a 3rd Toney-Rahman fight, and Wlad is all types of wrong for James (although I think Toney wants to fight him). I think its a good interesting matchup. im a huge toney fan, but haye would beat toney convincingly...

Toney has a better chin, more stamina, and better skills than Haye, even at age 40. Haye has been stopped by a 40 year old before (Thompson). Toney by middle round KO or TKO after Haye gasses. On a side note, Toneys legs are shot, not that he was a dancer before but his slips and leans are so much slower than they used to be. James Toney is still a big name. It's a good move for Haye who might want to get some exposure and also test the waters before going up against the bigger hitting HW's. have to agree though i'm a big toney fan as well. his skills get him by but he has to fight in spurts. i doubt he can ko haye and haye is young and strong. toney does better against old guys who can't fight a full round or younger guys that are slow. that's why i'd like to see toney-tua. they'd take turns and each have their moments against each other but against young guys that are busy , tua and toney would have their problems. though tua's power might let him get "lucky" against haye i doubt toney has the power to ko haye wth a single punch. and how come there's no poll?
