First off, I'd like to note that I'm not trying to make it seem like I'm a boxing expert, because I'm simply not. This is just my observation.
Wlad looked out of his element on Saturday against Thompson. I don't know if anyone agrees but he looks sloppy in the ring. The only times he doesn't look sloppy is when his opponent stands right infront of him, not giving him any movement or angles with a shit defense (like Ray Austin).
His inside game is probably among the worst in boxing, he clinches excessively as well. He's like a fuckin robot that was programmed to jab and throw right hands. His composure begins to deteriorate as soon as the fight strays away from what was expected.
I'm probably going to get shit for this but I don't see Wlad as a true fighter. He's good at chess matches but when shit gets rough and the match turns into a fight........he's really not that good.
With all of that being said, I don't understand how people don't give Haye a chance. Do you really think Haye can't do what Thompson did on Saturday? Plus, I think Haye hits a lot harder than Thompson and he shouldn't be that fatigued so early in the fight.
I have more to say but I'm kind of in a hurry.
What did you think of the way Wlad was slapping down Ibragimov's hand?
I think it's a good thing the boring southpaw is out of the picture.

blaring
A noun
1 blare, blaring, cacophony, clamor, din
a loud harsh or strident noise
I used the word correctly. Anyone with an education will agree.
(there is a typo though, supposed to be only one "r")
Yeah, but it's hard to make the distinction between that an a maneuver.
lol you know?
Watch old Louis tapes. He fucking herked and jerked with the paw defense and did strange things, he never was penalized.
I mean he did the same thing Wlad does.
What did you think of the way Wlad was slapping down Ibragimov's hand?
You know. He's had a few fucking awful fights lately.
lol two nasty southpaws and a undefeated slugger.
Honestly, I don't think I'd be able to miss out on any of his fights for the simple fact that I know how exciting he COULD be. It's kind of like playing the lotto, the odds of winning are slim but i still play because of the "what if"
I know what you're talking about. Isn't that illegal?
Yeah, but it's hard to make the distinction between that an a maneuver.

I'm fully aware he wasn't always like that. Which is why i said "keep" watching him, because that's how he currently is.

What do you mean by the knock the chair down thing?
Left hand literally slaps down the gaurd right hand comes through.
Euro Paw tactic.

That's true. Tbh, I know the only reason why I keep watching his fights is because I'm such a hardcore boxing fanatic. I'm sure casual fans are thinkin "wow, this guys fuckin boring. I'd rather tune into UFC next weekend and watch a blood bath"

I wish he'd do the knock the chair down thing again.
He stopped doing that. I know he'd knock people out quicker.
Haha he invented that shit.

I agree with almost everything you said, but at the same time he wins and he puts almost everybody to sleep.

If Wladimir Klitschko was anything like Kelly Pavlik as a fighter he'd be a star.
He is much more of a star than Pavlik if we're being honest, at least worldwide he is.
i think the problem with Wlad is he punches through the target everytime and that leaves him open and vulnerable when he misses same as Kelly Pavlik who is also vulnerable defensively and punches through the target

My biggest concern with Wlad is that he doesn't seem very concerned about protecting his body. First, Brock and now Thompson have had success going to his body and battering his ribs. Wlad got left with some nasty bruises last Saturday and I wander if that could have been avoided if he developed a better inside game(more uppercuts and short punches before clinching).
He is very talented and his passion for the sport is immense. That being said, i think Haye needs more footwork. But even as he is i'd pick him over Klitschko based on his last 2 performances.
i amstarting to lean toward haye myself, but can't be sure till i see him in with a decent heavy!
i agree with you bro! riz, good post as well. wlad has the tools for sure(great power, jab, athleticism), but not the chin or natural gift for the sport. not a born boxer imo. he gets tired due to his over tension, and worry of getting hit, is a bit clumsy at times as well. in another era he would not be a strap holder. he could do much better, he has more than enough skill, but he needs to let go. or maybe he is what he is, and as silencers said a made boxer, and this is him! imho
