After watching that again, I have nothing but the utmost respect for a man that gave his all for boxing. Corrales will truly be missed, he's was one of the all time bravest warrior to ever step into the ring.
Diego was a true warrior. He took his beating like a man. It makes me sad though about his post fight interview. He was talking about how he wasn't gonna stop and that he would continue to fight. Really sad story....
It really showed. Clottey walked right through his punches but what really surprised me was Corrales chin holding up to such a beating.
I remember when they made that fight i said no way does Chico's chin hold up for more than 4-5 rounds.I was shocked to see him take all those shots from a good strong welter like Clottey.
Corrales never had a chance really. 140 would have been his limit.

I remembered thinking after this fight when Corrales kept saying "I can't make 140", that his career was over if that was true. Clottey beat him the fuck up, badly.
The last 2 rounds are the worst, by far. I'm really suprised he didn't get stopped.
I remember Clottey beating the crap out of him, but rewatching is was just brutal. Corrales was a true warrior.
