Rocky Marciano 49 (43) 0 .....
yeah but he was fighting sharmba mitchell , arturo gatti , carlos baldomir and past prime oscar de la hoya.
oh wait we're talking about rocky.
his opponents were much better than that. rocky was great. he's up there.
Joe Louis.
Without him Ali would never have even been.
Louis was the pioneer that broke down Racial barriers long before Ali.
Oh yeah and he was fucking brilliant.
It is a disgrace what the american government and his people did to him.
He was a major player in the War effort and donated loads of monies to charity.
Thats what Im talkin about!!!!
Ali: He beat everybody, including James Toney! :D
damn!!!
robert horry should have turned pro.
he beat shufford and toney inside of 2 hours......
plus big shot rob was like 6'10. that's a hell of a reach.
ali (he was more popular)
louis is toss up between louis and ali
tyson
I disagree. Ali is more popular NOW. Joe Louis was universally loved in his day. Ali wasn't loved till he came back and lost to Frazier in 1971. It was then that the skeptics realized he was more than just a loud mouth, but had true fighting heart.
Who beats the man whos considered unbeatable and the most scary heavyweight of all time twice?
Ali did it. Ten years apart, fighting completely different styles.
I sure this has been done before but just want to know what you guys think
Joe Louis. No titlist let alone unified champion will ever surpass his 25 defenes of the title in my opinion. Greatest finisher ever.
Well, the only unbeaten Heavyweight Champion of the World EVER is the American fighter Rocky Marciano, but personally I am going for Muhammad Ali because in so many ways he was a pioneer.
