everytime you post I think your user name says pink floyd
You know what, i've only just noticed that now you pointed it out. I thought it was Pink Floyd too.
Who you got as you ten all time favourites, Diego?
The key for me in this fight is that Toney isn't a real heavy, which is why Rahman was able to relatively easily handle him despite having far less skills. I imagine he'll do the same again, though perhaps more widely this time. Toney has deteriorated fast since entering the division.
I admittedly have strange taste, but I always liked Rahman. He has terrific ability but finds the strangest ways to lose fights. My 2nd favorite moment in boxing history is when he KO'd Lewis to win the title.
I've also always liked Toney because he is the funniest fighter of all time. He is also one of the best fighters I've ever seen. How else can you explain a former middleweight taking flush shots from Peter and outfighting him (in the first fight)? He is simply amazing and, had he been in shape, could have been one of the greatest ever no doubt.
I also like Danny Williams of course because he is an even bigger mystery than Rahman at times, but I can't say I ever watched Danny before the Tyson fight so I don't know him as well as the others. I like Ali, Foreman, Lewis, Holmes, Holyfield...not sure who else really. I liked DaVarryl Williamson.
Rahman boxing skills is very underrated.
Hashim Rahman was winning against Olge intell he didnt use the jab he lost the fight.
Rahman greatest weapon is his jab and Lennox Lewis admited that Rahman jab is what won him the first fight against him. He jabbed Lewis to the stomach and when Lewis started to crouch down in the later round and loss stamina he threw the overhead right
I watched the other fight the other day and scored it to Rahman 115-113. That was with giving Toney a close round 4. I told everyone long before that fight that if any heavy could beat Toney it was Rahman. If Rock uses the jab to control the fight, he'll win a decision. Still, Toney put up a great fight being FAT as hell in the first fight. Tough call. These are my two favorite heavies ever so it's really a bad fight for me. I'll go ahead and say Rock edges him again.
