What PPV Will You Order?

If I was strapped for cash and could only afford one, I would buy Cotto-Margarito as that has the best main event and has FOTY candidate potential. I will be ordering Calz-RJJ but I totally expect it to be much more tactical and less visceral than Cotto-Margarito.

I agree Cotto-Margarito is a no-brainer, instead of watching Casa-Marquez Ill will be watching the Showtime fight Guzman-Campbell, I might order Calzaghe-Jones, but I think the Pavlik-Williams is free HBO, I defininately won't even get Mayorge-Mosley, and the De La Hoya is another must. Yeah, putting PPVs up against legit world title bouts that are free on another network only works if you have an absolute superstar... I'm thinking the Sept 13 card doesn't sell a lot

Pavlik-Williams will probably end up on free HBO. I'll probably end up ordering all the rest with the exception of Mosley-Mayorga, I can wait for a replay of that one.

It honestly depends on scheduling time with other boxing fans to watch and what weekends I have with my kids. I don't see any of them as being to where I couldn't miss them at all; I used to buy every PPV - in 2005 I dropped $700+ on PPV. I've slowed down, though I still watch and get copies of every major fight. July 26, there is a free Elite XC show on and there isn't anything on the undercard I'm really needing to see. Jones Jr/Calzaghe likely won't deliver, but since I've been adamant to some Roy fans that he's going to lose - going so far as to bet free boxing tickets on the result - that's the one I'll want to see the most. Mayorga's one of my favorite active boxers so that would probably be #2 for me. I would doubt Pavlik vs. Williams is A PPV, especially an HBO PPV.

I will be ordering #1 and #3. The Pavlik fight will be used to show the JC-RJ replay on HBO. Obviously #6 depends on the opponent. If it is the Cotto-Margarito winner, yes. If it is JCC Jr or Trinidad, no. You pretty much summed up my purchases as well.
