yes the way you see it. oh look your from puerto rico how veird! sad to say most people had that fight a draw or luevano winning but they are all wrong. if santiago wasn't from puerto rico would you have him winning i think not.
You're barking up the wrong tree here. If you are looking for biased, nationalistic posters, keep looking. This is the first time I have posted here in weeks and this is exactly what I dislike. You call something like it is and just because the fighter in discussion is from your country then you are biased. Hey, I did not even know Santiago before that night but I can appreciate when someone performs well and shows determination to win a title. Luevano was flat and did not perform well. I couldn't care less if there was a Japanese against a Canadian in the fight. I like fair decisions regardless of nationalities because I'm a fan of boxing as a sport, not a contest between countries.
I call it like it is. I'm not making anything up. The first 4 are champions and that's a fact. Santiago won more rounds against Luevano and got a draw in Las Vegas being a total unknown. That should tell something about how good he performed.

I wasn't expecting a 1st round KO by Santos and actually predicted for Alcine to win the decision. Obviously I was way off, but it's good to see Santos back on the mix at 154.
Cotto
Calderon
Lopez
Santos
The next should be Mario Santiago if he gets a Luevano rematch and repeats his performance in a neutral place.
damn i missed it
