was/is Roy Jones a big puncher or not ?
he knocked out Sugar Boy Malinga a guy who Eubank or Benn could not put away
he beat Percy Harris up
he brutally flattened Glenn Thomas with a left hook
he startched Art Sewano and put his eyes in the back of his head
he took Jorge Vaca out with one counter left hook
he took Danny Garcia out with a left hook that i dont even think landed it looked to me like Garcia just took a dive
Thomas Tate was rescued by his corner after a big leaping left hook
Tony Thornton,Merqui Sosa were both questionable stoppages IMO
Eric Lucas took everything Roy could throw at him
Bryant Brannon clearly could 'nt take a punch or Jones just hit that hard
Griffin was made to pay for cheating Jones outta the title with one big left hook awsome
Virgil Hill one of the best body shots ever in the history of Boxing
Richard Frazier not worth talking about lol
David Telesco called Roy a bitch throughout the fight telling him he could not knock him out
Richard Hall was on the floor in the 1st few rounds but stayed on his feet and made it to the 11 and Jones hit him with a barrage of punches that would have Koed most oponents but Hall stood upto it although he was hurt and the fight needed stopping
Glen Kelly did'nt desereve to be in the same ring plain and simple
Clinton Woods doubled over by Jones Body shots
John Ruiz shook momentarily by a Jones right hand
Anthony Hanshaw hurt badly late on Jones did not finish him off
Felix Trinidad arguable wether he was hurt in the fight
Lou Del Valle ,Mike McCallum ,Jones could not seem to hurt them that much
Vinny Pazienza to small for the weight but stopped none the less
Antoine Byrd Jones clearly had to much power for Byrd how long did he last less than a mintue ?
is Newman the guy who pulled Tillery over the ropes?
That's him.
LMAO yeah fucking hilarious
i watched Bowe fight Coetzer and in the pre fight press confrence Rock Newman was telling Coetzer trainer/ manager that here in America we are free black men WTF we
Rock Newman thought he was a brother lol
Yeah, Newman is an eccentric dude.
Bowe should've been the one disqualified, he threw the punch after the bell although Tillery did kick him in retaliation, than Newman goes all WWE on Tillery.....

No you didn't spell it wrong, I just don't know what you mean in regards to the interview.
forget it dont matter i thought u were talking about an interview Thornton had after his fight with Jones
I remember that. I have that RJJ greatest KO's video. Sosa looked like he was about to start fighting the ref.:lol1:
yeah me to it was nearly Bowe v Tillery revisited lol
Was the Sosa fight the one where he motioned to the ref to stop the fight and the ref didn't, so Jones went in and landed like 4 more punches, knocked the guy down and then the ref called it? That was crazy whatever fight that was.
yeah lol i never saw the interview
it looked a little premature to me TBH but i could be wrong
just outta interest who hits harder outta Jones and Pavlik at 160lbs?
Jones had more POP on his shots
Pavlik had more THUD
Its a different type of power.. I'd go with Roy b/c he mixes it up with different angles to find openings..
He was so fuckin accurate

I think you're talking about the Vinny Paz fight.

Bryant Brannon
i agree to an extent
jones deffo coned the referee into stopping the Sosa and Thorton fights with a barrage of punches
Against Sosa, yes. That stoppage was premature.
Against Thorton...eh. Ref did Tony a favor. Isn't that the guy who said to Larry Merchant after the fight - when Larry asked him if he had any advice for future Roy Jones opponents responded, "Yeah...stay the hell away from him."
Jones used accumulation punching as well. He rarely layed guys out with one punch.. I think Pavlik has a little more raw power.
