Since Floyd Mayweather has retired there has been a debate as far as who is the best P4P fighter in the world. Some say Pacquiao is the better fighter with the better career. Some have even said Cotto. I say Calzaghe because of his longevity, title defenses, and ability to beat much younger top fighters in convincing fashion. He's also unbeaten. But a case can be made for Pacquiao too. So who is the better fighter with the more accomplished career?
So now that legacy and earning power is taken from this "unbeaten champ" - - what does he really have at the end of the day?
Mate you've replied to the same comment 3 or 4 times since ive been away. Go have a wank, get laid, do something. I meant it as a jokey comment anyway. Yet you've got so worked up over it.
You obviously have some frustration issues with how successful Joe Calzaghe is. Go address them and come back more level headed.

he's the 2nd greatest fighter of all time out of wales.
.I'd weigh up Joes losses but I cant seem to find any.....

I'll also take Oscars losses matched up with JC's none in earning power. Yep, that "O" really does mean alot huh? (rolls eyes)
Pacquiao is probably better than Joe, his speed, power and naked aggression mean that for me he would probably beat Joe in a P4P matchup. He doesn't have everything Calzaghe has, because he is nowhere near as tactically astute, but beyond that he is not far away.
Pacquiao has a much better resume than Calzaghe and has won titles in 5 different weight classes, although the first fight with Barrera wasn't for any sanctioning bodies' belt, it was for the linear title.

I'd take Pac's losses and his legacy he will leave behind than the zero, which will go away soon, that JC has strategically kept for himself. Manny is what boxing needs - JC isn't. Pac is a true warrior who fought and continues to fight wars in the ring and is in no way slowing down. JC has nothing resembling a war and is at the end of his career. Nuff said.
Well if you're gonna mention his wins at flyweight, you gotta balance it up with the fact he was KOed twice there.
And also lost the first fight to Morales.

losses are part of the sport.
as they say...... "if you don't have any losses......you're not fighting the right people." :-)
losses when you are a teenager doesn't hurt the resume too much.
fighting pro at 16 is manny's equivalent to an amateur career.

Also I would say that equating Pacquiao's wins at Flyweight etc to Kessler/Lacy should also be punctuated with the fact that he was knocked out twice during that time.

I have no issue with people rating Pacquaio as P4P Number 1. Its subjective, its about opinions.
LOL it's ONLY about opinions. Looking at facts, one would be quite embarassed to side with JC. As I said in the other thread, I'm done disputing the JC myth. I'll let others embarass you further.
a little bit after joe won the 168 wbo belt , manny won the wbc 112 belt.
5 years before joe got lacy's ibf belt , manny won ledwaba's ibf 122 belt.
manny also won the linear belt at 126 before joe got his linear belt at 168.
manny won his 130 linear and wbc belt same time joe got his 175 linear belt.
and manny added the wbc belt at 135 since then.
even if you don't want to count the marquez wins , 4 wins over past prime barrera and morales is better than 2 wins over past prime hopkins and eubank.
sasakul was the best flyweight at the time manny beat him and ledawaba was considered #1 or 2 at 122 when manny beat him.
sasakul and ledwaba are better or equal wins to kessler and lacy.

The way I saw it was that both guys were top 5. Joe beat both Kessler and Hopkins where I believe Manny lost to Marquez who was also in the top 5. Hence I would probably have 1.Joe 2. Marquez 3.Pac
Just my opinion

Argue that one Mr. Diggler lmao. Nice post, but we must still be blinded by hate instead of, as I said, HARD FACTS!
Eubank, Hopkins - both great fighters. Not saying "better" but at the same level.
Barrera 1 was Pacquiao's best win and that was quite a long time ago. I think he lost twice to Marquez since and I would rank Marquez over Pac for that reason. And Im a big fan of Manny.
Calzaghe has made 21 defences, unified his division twice, moved up and beat Hopkins, the linear champ at 175.

Very true. Thanks for the words of wisdom my good man. Some people are just blinded by hard facts.
Some people are also blinded by hate. Looking through some of your posts, its quite obvious where yours is directed.
Dude I think you better take a leaf out of mine and leave it alone. Seriously, what's the point? He refuses to see logic and also, I mean, observe my fuckn sig.
