Thaxton was a step up for him, and after suffering one of the worst cuts I have seen after less than 20 seconds of round 1, he went on to win 10 out of the 12 on my card. Thaxton has since used the term "torture" as the best word to describe 12 rounds with Hatton.

It makes me feel a little disappointed that I lost that fight when I formatted my hard drive. What you have to remember, is that fight went 12 rounds, and if I recall correctly, that picture was taken during round 5... One of the best fights I have ever seen, probably second only to Castillo vs Corrales.
