your forgeting that england is about a 200th of the size of america and yet still its a close competition, as we hold many belts and we are about 200th smaller than you, yet we still manage to keep the competiton close, but i adimit it the americans are edging it so far
Britain is about a fifth the size of the US, 60 million compared to 300 million inhabitants.
No, there will always be fighters from countries they will get replace. Haye, (maybe) china chin Khan, Arthur etc will take their place. Countries will always produce fighters.
Definitely, the futures brighter than ever. Khan and Haye are merely the most established up and comers, ignoring those already up there and established, and those just coming through.
Btw dude your sigs are sick seriously, might have to get you to hook me up one or some improvements to mine some time.

Boxing is doing well over in Britain at the moment. THere will be plenty of more good fighters come along after Joe and Hatton hang them up. Haye and Khan provide a window into the future.

I am not talking about accomplishment wise.He has the ability to move up and win some titles and at least crack the P4P charts in the near future. He is still very young. He will never top Mayweather, but he can achieve alot with the amount of skill he has.
It's amazing how any black American fighter who holds his lead hand low is instantly compared to Mayweather.
Haye
Maccrenelli
Froch
Barker
Murray
Khan
Plus several outstanding amatures who could be very good.
British boxing is in great shape
Yup, not to mention;
Alex Arthur
Clinton Woods
Nicky Cook
Junior Witter
David Haye
Bradley Pryce
Loads of up and comers aswell. Amazed some ppl just think we've only got Calzaghe and Hatton, I mean fairly ignorant gotta be said. Just because you haven't seen much of them doesn't mean there not already good or coming through, I'd rather ppl asked rather than exposed theyre ignorance listing the only 2 fighters they clearly only know about much.
Once Calzaghe retires after his fight with Jones and David Haye gets dismantled by the behemoth Klithchko, they will have china chined Khan and Hatton who would never step up to 147 and bang with the elite. We already have someone who will take Maywethers spot again and his name is Andre Berto he has that slick Mayweather defense with just as much speed as Floyd, with one of the most devastating uppercuts I have ever seen.Berto is the complete package offense and defense:boxing:
yeah i agree Berto has a great defence against someone like Rodriguez but he has been tagged by Estrada and Rivera and been down in the ameteurs a few times by all acounts his defence is not great at all ,when he shows the kinda D he did against Rodrigues against top quality fighters then i will take notice and aknowledge his defensive skill
no question his offence is terrific but his Defence and durability are a differenet story IMO
You must be a blind fool if you even compare Lacy to Berto. They fight nothing alike. One has ability the other has a punch.Lacy can't be a counter puncher or stick a good jab in your face.Bertos defense shits on lacys:boxing:
no i didnt compare lacy and berto in talent or style. learn to read. I said they are both hype jobs and berto will be exposed as lacy was.
David Haye. He will take the Heavyweight scene by storm if he takes his time.
Carl Froch, plus a lot of promising amateurs coming through.
Amir Khan is an overrated media darling that hasn't shown any promise that he can challenge anybody at the top of the division. It will come as a shock to Britain when they find out they've (the public) have been taken for mugs.
If he takes his time however, and gets the right trainer then who knows? I'm not wrtiting him off, it just makes me mad how he gets a lot of attention because of his Olympic medal while others get shunned from the limelight.
Nonitio Donaire could very well make up for Manny. He is a very good fighter and i see him going a long way in boxing. I am also keeping an eye out for that conception fighter as well.
I know he fought Floyd and that is why he will never move up to 147.I love how people like you make tons of excuses for Hattons loss but yet he never tried to prove himself after that in the elite division of 147.You can't deny Bertos talent the man has a stiff jab with blazing fast hands and can lead as well as counter. He might not be on Floyds level but in time he will be damn close to it.
well pacquiao never tried to prove himself in the elite division of middleweight either, does that make him a bum as well? what in gods name are you talking about? hatton is a 140 pound fighter who went up to 47 for a payday, he's not under some obligation to stay there and fight bigger guys for your entertainment.
P.S Berto is nothing special, at all. Hes a hype job to at least jeff lacy proportions

Berto has 22 fights and has achieved precisely fuck all. Unless you think that winning Floyd's vacated trinket in a box-off is an achievement. Floyd had stopped the man in his division and had what four title defense by the same stage.
Also Berto went pro as a middleweight and now boils down to 147 lbs. Floyd went pro as a super featherweight and managed to get titles at five weights. Can you see Berto winning at light-heavyweight?

Yeah Hatton would never step up to 147 and bang with the elite. He fought some bum called Floyd Mayweather Junior who some people said was quite good...
???
As for Berto being the next Mayweather, you have to be out of your mind.
