I have been watching him post for more than a year and have come to the conclusion that he is no more than a nuisance in these forums and has yet to say something truly witty or funny! Am I off here, or is he full of dumb statements and boring jokes?
Just my 2 cents.
I am not saying I am a comedic genius but I dont try to be one either.
Andre Berto is a class act...
Dan
Edit: Just kidding
i know, they were something like +275 come fight night. which, like i said, is almost 3-1
like I said, not even close....

I bet that fight and I don't remember them being close to that...I'll check when I get home.
Some of my more impressive upset picks:
Pacquiao over Barrera
Tarver over Roy (1st fight, got it wrong, but I knew Tarver was the wrong style for him, which Antonio proved in the rematch)
Taylor over Hopkins
Judah over Spinks (called the round)
Corrales over Castillo (1s fight, called the round)
That isnt THAT good.
Pacquiao over Barrera is very good, ill give u ur props on that one i hardly even knew who Pacquiao was on that one.
But Tarver over Roy a lot of people were onto it.
Taylor over Hopkins i myself picked, and plenty of others.
Judah over Spinks is pretty good, but the odds werent rediculous or anything.
And Corrales over Castillo was hardly an upset, and guessing the exact KO round is all luck. Guessing if its early mid, or late is where the skill is.
You can say whatever about the polls, but I went on long tirades about how I thought it was ridiculous that this forum was 50/50 on the DLH-Mayweather fight prior to the bout. I don't care what they say now, they were 50/50 at fight time.
You are thinking of the Mayweather-Hatton polls, which were 60/40.
Also you forget that the entire forum was awaiting Judah-Mayweather prior to the Baldomir intrusion and many, many picked Judah to beat Floyd.
Floyd beat Corrales, who was the best Jr. Lightweight aside from himself
Floyd beat Castillo, who was the best Lightweight
Floyd beat Judah and Baldomir for the linear 147lb title (are you seriously going to tell me that in 2006 Cotto was considered Mayweather's biggest threat? HAHAHAHA)
Floyd beat De La Hoya, who was considered the best Jr. Middleweight

your awesome, thanks for solidifying my point!

what r u talking about
if u wanna have a legitimate back and forth, lets have at it, not make shit up.
I remember saying Baldomir had a shot cause i fuckin loved the guy at the time, and i truly and honestly got caught up in all the hype. I still picked Mayweather to win the fight handily, i just though Baldy had a shot. Ill admit it. I was clearly wrong.
But i NEVER said Oscar had a chance and the polls were NOT 50-50. man. is was like 80-20 no joke. Floyd was nearly a 3-1 favorite in the odds on fight night. And when the fuck did i say Pavlik was a great great fighter? Hell, a while back i picked Kessler over Pavlik, and i thought Miranda was going to beat Pavlik in the first fight cause i didnt really know much about Pavlik.
Seriously, lets use some facts here.
And just because i dont pick the favorite EVERY FUCKING TIME, doesnt make me any less knowledgable.
I get a lot of upset picks right. Hell, i picked VERA over LEE and won almost 250 dollars off it. Its easy to be right all the time if u consistantly go with the betting favorite like u allllllwaaaaayyysss do.
The odds were not 3-1.
Before the fight, 50% of this forum picked Oscar to win. I don't care what the polls say now because people go back and vote. The day before the fight, it was 50/50 on this and many boxing forums. I laughed at that and said Mayweather would win relatively easy, which is exactly what he did. if you thought Oscar won 5 rounds, you're lying to yourself.
I think even kball picked Oscar to win, so he's the last guy I'm going to on anything Mayweather related. kball, you told everyone that BALDOMIR had a great shot. You know so very little about this sport. Sure you're a huge fan and watch a lot of fights, but you are the last guy I'd ask for an opinion about regarding an upcoming fight. You're all heart and no head. You think Pavlik is a great, great fighter. Well, if we're gonna go crazy, let's go ahead and call Margarito a great fighter too

It is laughable that polls were at 50%, but people on this forum don't vote with their head. They simply pick the fighter they WANT to win.
Nobody moreso than kball. Roy Jones had a ton of haters until he lost. I mean people on the other forum despised him more than anybody. EVERYONE was cheering for Tarver going into their 2nd fight. Now, a couple losses and a comeback later and people love Roy again like it's 1996 up in here.

Yes, because Cotto is a legendary fighter and all
5 division champ in 10 years. Nothing else needs to be said
did i not just say it has nothing to do with skill? not even accomplishment.
Pavlik, Pacman, and Cotto are a lot more like Leonard, Hearns, and Hagler, because they want to fight the best fighters that they can.
Mayweather has fought the single best fighter in his division, MAYBE twice, probably only once in Corrales...
thats pathetic. And you call him one of the ATG's. I cant believe his fans stick up for him after he just ditched the sport
