i dunno why theres all the hate. i went to the uk when i was 18. i was all over europe and the uk was one of the best spots i went. the people were cool, even though they talked mad shit on the pres haha but who doesnt. but i met a lot of cool people and did some cool shit. honestly france was pretty bad. ended up getting into three brawls in france. some french kids told us they had guns and were gunna shoot me and my friends, they just had fire crackers though. and they ended bein pussies for the most part. but i never had a problem anywhere in the uk. europe is the shit. especially italy cant wait to visit again especially since i got family in italy i can go anytime i want.
There Will be Blood, great film. O and I wouldn't live in either, I lived in both England and the USA. Asia is where i'm staying anywhere in asia :)
having lived... not visited but lived in both countries i'd say it depends where you live obviously.. how much money you have etc
i personally overall prefer england though

Rae...
I cannot believe a man of your age would actually believe this myth of Brits and dentists in a serious manner.
The US has better dentists?, i mean come on mate this is the 21st century.
Really I was just flaming being an immature fuckwad earlier....I was bored at work.....Shit there are plenty of crackheads and rednaecks round these parts with fucked up or no teeth. We call em sommer teeth...some are here and some are there.
Respect. What floats ones boat may not float anothers. Health care is free at the point of need in the UK, and I'm afraid that can't be said of the US, I myself have heard some unpleasant stories about ppl being turned down treatment, from even family members. Landscape, again been answered, there's way more history and what not in the UK. We Brits love our food, and many foreigners have come to aswell. Music is better in the UK imo, much less crap on the radio, decent tunes in the charts, more gigs, clubs, raves, events, deeper tunes coming out.
I prefer many things of the US over the UK though, such as the roads, ppl are often more amiable, job/salaries are often better, houses are bigger and more modern. We'd happily swap some pro's around if we could, but that wouldn't make us the country we are would it, so we learn to love it all.
No doubt...Respek....
co sign. what weight is he??

There are pros and cons. America has huge variation within its borders and you can experience everything from snow covered mountains to wild surf to bone dry desert to arboreal forest without once getting out your passport. I like the US, I really do. On the other hand it is a crazy place and if you are unfortunate enough to require social safety nets or if you fall ill you're pretty much fucked unless you are very wealthy. Furthermore pay and conditions in the UK is far better than in the US.
On balance I wouldn't live in the US, I'd live in Britain. But I prefer Canada to both.
Do you have compulsory vehicle safety checks in the us??
Over here we have to have an mot test done yearly, just wondered because i install all that equipment, just wondered if its big business over there really.
Ok so I was a little harsh on the UK earlier.....what I meant to say in a diplomatic way is that it appears from my knowledge of both places and the things I've heard from others who have traveled the world is that the U.S. has more variety and options of landscape, better quality (maybe not access but quality) health and dental care and more tasty( but fat filled) food varieties. I will say tho I'd take a hawt Brit chick with a nice accent over a rotten, smart ass spoiled American cunt anyday.

K....fair enough. Every country has it's good and bad.....Hell Africa is probably the most beautiful Continent in the world but who the fuck would want to live there aside from maybe a handfull of civilized cities.
Very good point, I would love to spend some time in the Australian outback, beautiful arid and ruggid landscape, likened to the surface of Mars.
I'm not good with my US geography but I would love to visit some wildlife there and south American rainforest too. Tis a wicked continent for nature, t'be sure.
No way can you claim the landscape is better, more varied maybe but no way is it better.
Also there is also no way you can say the dental care is better, you pretty much have to go private where i live so no chance of NHS dental care, costs a fuckin bomb too.

Yeah, nice countryside nearby. River Itchen, South Downs. New Forest isn't too far either. Definately a decent area to live in.
£235k for a 2 bedroom flat is a bit steep though.
One way system is rather annoying though.
Oh mate the one way is a fuckin nightmare, it can take me over an hour to get from my house to tesco, which is about 2 miles away through town.
Lucky I live 30 seconds from the motorway. I'm also right on the river so i get beautiful walks along the river into town. Good schools for my kids too, i just don't know if i can afford to stay here. I only get paid 25k and my mrs doesn't work so that's all we get, plus tax credits and shit.
it is commonsense u clown
i take it u have never clapped eyes on a map LMAO
Look at the size difference between the 2 countries dipshit and ask yourself would that little coutry house more people than we have in this country there is your answer
did u do geography at your school or where u in the corner when they were teaching it to everybody

Well, India is smaller than US on the map but.........
by the way I'm not defending that guy, It should be common sense that we have a larger population than england. This is the problem with America, we have no idea what is going on around us. We just like to close our eyes to the rest of the world and proclaims we are the best. Probably <10% of the Americans can tell you who the president is of Mexico or Canada (our neighboring countries). Most can't even point out Iraq on the map, but get very patriotic when it comes to discussions about the war and are convinced that everything we are doing over there is the right thing to do.
As you can see from my vote, I am not planning to leave america anytime soon. I love america, (in the words of Bill Maher) I'm just embarrased by some of the idiots that reside here who we are obligated to call Americans.
