hello....
if this suggested "superfight" between hatton and pacman does go ahead, will hatton take the crown as p4p no. 1?
of course hatton is the favourit in this fight(simply because he is ALOT bigger!)and could definetly knock pacman out,but does that make him the best?
thoughts?
cheers
No beating Pac wouldn't make him number 1 p4p, just as losing to Mayweather didn't drop him from number 8 on the ring list. He had a relatively poor performance against Lazcano which really is amazing. If you can call a ten-round-to-two decision a poor performance then expectations must be pretty high. Lazcano was ranked top ten at 140 lbs by the Ring.
He's not in the top 20 p4p. Beating Manny would not do it either. It is amazing how criminally overrated this guy is. Did anyone even watch the Mayweather fight? He was atrocious.
hatton was in the top 10 p4p a couple of weeks ago
He wasn't in my opinion. I could get in the ring and hug Juan Lazcano for 12 rounds, not P4P stuff unfortunatly.
He wasn't the first to think you are Anorak, and probably won't be the last.
You two have a very similair posting style.
Maybe we do. However, as one Calzaghe fan to another, I am most deffinatly not !! Anorak.
Not so much as MakeItRain who assumed i was a Brit because i like Calzaghe. That made my day. He also called me !! Anorak:cop:

that 43 year old is no 4 p4p lol.
He was indeed. But it was like, i'm talking about Hatton and this motherfucker jumps on me crying about Calzaghe..
lulz
On the other hand beating a 43 year old even by split decision, being dropped in the process completely makes you p4p n1 or 2 doesn't it? Oh boxing...
The difference here is Joe wasn't humbled yet. He is going for another 40+ year old and sure he will be p4p number 1 after that. Dawson? No!!! He's too young. You guys really feel good with those ranking? I wouldn't.
What the fuck are you yattering about. I never mentioned Calzaghe you mentally challenged alt.

someone please translate
No. Beatin someone that started at 108 pounds in a 140 pound fight does not make you P4P. The ranking is ranked on skill and no way Fatton gets near top ten..
Ol' Harolds on fire today.
JIM!

Oscar would have been if he had KO'd Floyd, so I suppose it would.
Seriously though, say what you want about Hatton, but how many boxers have ever fought two P4P#1 fighters? (assuming the fight comes off)
Oscar De La Hoya fought many P4P fighters.
Kostya Tszyu was also ranked highly, maybe number 1 despite being old.

Way to actually try and justify this thread.:ugh:
