it seems like for a lot of people its popular to say Clottey is underrated. Sort of the i'm no casual fan answer. But i'm sure he's pretty good if ppl don't stop talking about him.

I actually think Zab will go well for himself in the beginning then get tired, but who knows now that Mayweather Sr. is training him. Clottey also tires fast if you fight him at a quick pace, so maybe if Zab can wear him down things may be different. All I know is it's yet again gonna be a fight well worth watching. Clottey's beat a lot of good prospects and solid opposition. It's good enough to warrant a title shot. There are a lot more fighters you can lambaste for being unworthy. Who did Adrian Diaconu beat to get a mandatory spot with Chad Dawson? To single out Clottey is to open the flood gates on a lot of worse cases.

People forget that Clttey ws whog on Margaritto untill he messed up his hands. He was fighting with 1 hand. Don't count this dude out he is total package. Power defense chin speed and master at throwing triple hooks. I wouldn't say power is one of his strong points.

He just hasn't had his shot against top welters besides Marg. Unlike Judah who gets every break and gets a name guy. Clottey has been avoided for whatever reason.
