There is a double standard when it comes to race. Even boxing commentators like Max Kellerman, Al Bernstein and Wally Matthews are much harder on white boxers for some reason. For example, when Ricky Hatton won a dominating victory over Ben Tackie in 2003, Al Bernstein on Showtime went on and on about how Tackie who had just turned 30 was "old", as if to discredit Hatton's excellent performance.
