I'm sure if he wanted to, he could get his next fight on a network like NBC, Fox, CBS etc for his next fight. He could even take on someone other than the winner of Cotto/Margo, but a decent fighter who can give him many problems to promote a bout with the winner of Cotto/Margo in December on PPV. I think it would be a very smart move. HBO could co-promote the event as long as Oscar's fight AFTER that one would be on PPV.
A fight like this would be accessible to millions and would increase the chances of maximizing PPV buys for the next fight Oscar engages in which would hopefully be against Cotto/Margo.
Maybe an Oscar De La Hoya/Sergio Mora on network TV, could work!!!! Mora can't ask for too much money, he is well known to network television (winning the first contender which aired on NBC) and De La Hoya wants a tune up for a big finale. Sergio Mora vs. Oscar De La Hoya Mexican Independence Day Weekend would work IMO!!!!
someone should do an open letter to GB and have it e-signed. I would write it but my attention span fucks up most of what i do. just like misppelling "rivalry" in the promo video i made.

That's actually a pretty good idea. If fucking Kimbo can draw 5 million viewers, imagine the audience this would have. The exposure would be huge.
No boxers care about the sport its always themselves first and they are quietly killing the sport going about it this way. I will always watch but that doesn't mean the average sports fan is going to. Oscar De La Hoya/Winky Wright on NBC, that would be great but not very likely!!!!
I understand what you are saying, but it simply wont happen. Hes too gready to let millions (possibly tens of millions) go out the door just to make a little more on his fight after that. Plus he'll probably make just as much on his second to last fight as he will his last.
